I've never been to an apparthotel before. It's a very nice concept. For the same price as a single hotel room, you can envoy a large appartment with a small kitchen (which i used only for breakfast, but for those staying longer than 3 days, I think you might appreciate preparing your own meals for time to time.
I had the 50 sqm room with an independant bedroom, nice livingroom with a nearby kitchen, a bathroom (shower) and a separate toilet room.
You can easly fit 4 persons in the appartement. One detai however, the convertible coach in the living room is not very confortable. So you will definitly fight for the room.

Room Tip: 1/ Unless you like loud music and fireworks, avoid the period between july 12th and july 15th (frenc...

I lived here for 10 days on business. The hotel was simple and practical. Security was top notch and the staff excellent. They had a cafe corner that was available all day for free (breakfast comes with a charge of course).
The one room apartment complete with a kitchen and utensils although pots and pans were limited. There was no dishwasher in my room but some colleagues said they had one. My room came without a balcony but I did observe that some rooms had a balcony. The locale was close to the train station and a short walk to the metro. Capitole is 8 minutes away.
Only down side was that the two lifts operated rather slowly and will always stop at the lobby on the 1st floor. It took me 5 minutes to get from the lift at the 4th floor to the exit at ground floor! Otherwise, the place is excellent and convenient.

The airport shuttle costs 5 euro each and takes you to the stop at Jean Jaures in about 25 minutes. Very convenient .At the far end of the boulevard an unassuming entrance, next to the flashy Pullman hotel, leads into a small hallway. Lifts take you up to the 9th floor ( press 1). Reception staff are cheerful, pleasant and very helpful. This is a functional aparthotel : no frills, no fuss,no posh toiletries, but it works well.
Our studio had a kitchenette corridor with loo.A door led into the apartment which was larger than we expected, clean and quiet. The curtains provided perfect darkness, the shower was powerful, the sink ample. The sleeping area, through an archway, had a firm and comfortable bed in it.
The two hobs in the kitchen ( no extractor fan) have a limited capacity so dont expect to cook a 3-course meal there. Perfect for a breakfast fry-up though and while there is no oven you do have a microwave.
You can walk to many of Toulouse's sights from the hotel. The covered market, Victor Hugo, is a few mintes away. Cross the road and a buzzing fruit and veg street market is in full swing in the mornings. Buy some girolle and a variety of tomatoes for breakfast. Bread can be found at organic food coop on the way back ( near the metro station, same side of the road as the hotel). It opens at 9.30 ( closed on Sunday).
Parts of Toulouse are seedy with people sleeping rough on the pavements; Jean Jaures has its share. Be prepared to be accosted from time to time.
Good eating is to be had in Place St.Georges in pleasant surroundings or take a train to Castelnaudary for cassoulet at the restaurant Belle Epoque. You can walk off some of the calories along the Canal du Midi.
We got an excellent deal on expedia for the Residence; much better value than the much lauded Hotel Des Balcons by the Capitole, where we had stayed before. Yes, that was chic, but expensive for what you got. And you couldnt cook the delicious local produce for your breakfast either.

I stayed here on the last leg of a solo walking trip. This place used to be the Sofitel, but it's now divided into the Parthenon apartments (9th floor and upwards) and the Pullman (floors 1-8). A dedicated lift takes you right to the 9th floor reception, but this broke down when I was there, resulting in a weird detour through the sister hotel. Even more comically, the room wasn't quite ready, and was full of workmen putting the finishing touches to everything. Desk staff were incredibly sweet and apologetic, and I was all settled in to a brand new apartment within about 10 minutes. Thanks to a half-price online deal, this was the best value hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. The rooms are vast: there's a real kitchen (not just a token microwave and bin), and a comfy lounge area, with lots of space to work. This place knocks spots off the slightly tired Citadines chain, and I'd say it's one of the best options if you're visiting this amazing city. Good for the station, too

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was wonderful to have a stove-top and microwave. The kitchen is small, but easily accessible and all you need, even if you were staying for a week. The only thing it doesn't have is an oven.

The living room is large with comfortable furniture. The sofa pulls out into a bed. The windows look out over part of Toulouse, which is nice. They've even included a great coffee table book all about Toulouse and it's surrounds. The carpet in this living area is horrible, hard, commercial carpet, but as soon as you step into the bedroom there is a noticible difference, with soft, lush carpet. Just what every bedroom should have. The bedroom is also very large, with a big bed. The bed is slightly hard, but not a problem. Lots of storage space, which is great if you're planning a longer stay.

There's a nice bathroom, with a separate toilet. The shower is fantastic! I loved the shower head. I even noted down the name so that I can try and put the same type in when we build our bathroom.

There is a laundry room downstairs. You have to use coins, but this is still much easier than hunting around the city for a laundromat. There is also an ice box full of ice cubes you can collect and take back to your room. The lounge/bar area is a nice place to sit and relax, or play foosball, but the wifi actually works just as well in the apartments.
