“Home away from Home - A warm, friendly and helpful staff”

You walk in the front entrance and are immediately greeted with a smile and welcome from the person running the counter, our favorite was Megan. This BW was our anchor point in Toulouse as we traveled around Southern France. The family suite 212 was perfect for us and our two children 7 and 11, everything worked, very clean, great view of street and they were nice enough to give us the same room again when we came & went. We were able to leave some of our luggage for a few days while we went on a train trip to Spain so we wouldn't have to haul everything with us. The breakfast in the morning was perfect for busy travelers setting out for the day and always kept stocked up. English speaking staff gave us maps and the area and gave us suggestions and directions to places we asked for. They were very nice to our children as well and very polite.

This is nicer than the BWs in the US. Only a few blocks from main shopping and restaurants.

Room Tip: Room 212 is nice family suite with two seperate rooms with closing doors!

It is within walking distance of most of the downtown attractions, which is why I selected it. The grand entrance is somewhat misleading when you get to the rather smallish rooms, and mine had a rather awkward layout. It did have a tiny kitchen, however, so actually it was a little efficiency. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and if you are on a tight budget, then I think that this is a good enough place to stay.

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Capitole and is in a good location. The shuttle from the airport stops right outside the hotel (Jean Jares stop) and the train station is about a 15 minute walk. All of the tourist attractions are accessible on foot from this hotel. The only comments on the hotel are firstly that the breakfast is expensive (lots of cheaper places close by) and the lack of a shower curtain on the bath.

Head for Place St George - it is much nicer that the Capitole and has some great restaurants and is good for people watching and having a cup of coffee. The cathedral and archaeology museum are certainly worth a visit. The river boat trip (does not take you any distance up or down the river with the main attraction being going through a lock) is a non event and they do not provide commentary in English so unless you speak French don't bother with this.

This hotel is a bit pricey, but it is worth it, It's perfectly situated, the shuttle to the airport stops right in front, the subway is a few steps away and the city center is very close. The staff was charming (also very cute) and the rooms were very comfortable. After staying in many hostels, the hotel felt luxiurious almost decadent. The breakfast buffet was also a great part of our stay there. If in France, stay in Toulouse, the city is charming and this hotel is simply wonderful!

We stayed in hotel les Capitouls for 2 nights & arrived by train. From the station it was only a 10 minute walk (with luggage) to the hotel. Quick Summary;
Comfort - great bed, wifi in room (stable for our time) clean & cozy. Probably needs a shower curtain.
Staff - Always happy to help with anything. We highly recommend the 380 Airbus tour which was booked by the staff.
Location - Very convenient to get around. 10 minutes walk for the train station. 5 minutes walk to the town centre. 20 minutes to the Airport/Airbus HQ
Breakfast - Good quality and freshly made omelettes.
Final remarks - A great choice for Toulouse for the price.
