“Beautiful restored Manoir.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

A lovely hotel which has been open 4 years in a restored traditional French Manoir. It almost looks too pristine from the outside, perhaps losing a little of its former charm. Very happy about the pristine inside though! We stayed in room 2, a very well designed spacious superior room with bath and shower and a really comfortable large bed. The adjacent restaurant is separately owned, delicious, but rather pricey food. The town is charming for a stroll, but nothing much else to do out of ski season. The following day we drove to St Lizier, near St Girons on a fabulously twisting minor road via Col de Port which is at 1250m. We didn't have perfect weather for views unfortunately, but on the right day they would be spectacular.

Room Tip: Didn't see any other rooms, but room 2 on the first floor was lovely. Would like to have see t...

This is a beautiful hotel - a renovated manor house, in lovely grounds / garden - nothing like the current trip advisor photo! We stayed for one night and enjoyed a luxurious, spacious modern room with excellent WiFi. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Meals were excellent. We arrived early enough to walk into town -Tarascon is worth exploring, including a stroll up to the clock tower which gives good views. The hotel is situated near a road, a railway and a police helicopter base but, to be honest, this did not really bother us (although it may have done if we had stayed longer). Just wish I had taken a photo! There is a good photo on their publicity leaflet which I could copy but I do not have permission!

We stayed for 2 nights , using the restaurant both nights . The staff were welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean and well equipped . Wifi was fine and there was a nespresso machine in the room . The restaurant was excellent , although the ownership is different from the hotel , so payment may have to be made in the evening .
The region is beautiful , an Tarascon makes a good touring base .

The main photograph in use at the moment is not this hotel , which is a victorian building , very well renovated .

Room Tip: We need an accessible room . The one we were given here was excellent - it was much more than token...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during a work trip.
The room are not big, but well sized for a week or less.
Breakfast nothing to die for, especially for the price.
The clean was impecable. The staff are really nice people, especially at the restaurant, but the lady from the reception is very sweet too.
Indeed there are some noises coming from the street, but nothing to worry you about.
For your information the restaurant is closed on Mondays, but you have one other option at the city centre for dinner.
The town is very small, and dont have anything besides from quiet :)

Very welcoming host, room was clean and large. The two issues we had was that because the hotel is near the road, it was bit noisy even after 1am..could do with soundproof windows. The other one was internet access only available in lobby and not the room. Apart from this, everything was great.

It's a renovated 19th century mansion with remarkably spacious modern bedrooms. It does overlook a road with some traffic--but once we closed the shutters and drapes the noise disappeared. We slept well, on a first-rate mattress. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. After a day hiking in the Pyrenees it was wonderful to come home to a hot shower in a modern, roomy bathroom, then have a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the garden, with views of mountains in every direction. As other reviews have noted, the wifi is only available downstairs; somehow this didn't interfere with the serene vibe at the Agnes.

We stayed here for one night in August. We had a double room which the kids loved. I had the best night sleep that I had on our month long trip. The room was great. Although it is true, the hotel is on a busy road, the staff was great and our stay was fantastic. We are also recommended some great short drives nearby that were just stunning.
