“Perfect room and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

We originally decided to stay for only 2 nights, but after the first night we decided to extend another 5 nights. The staff were extremely helpful - they could speak English and they provided genuinely good information about the area. The restaurant was excellent too - we had breakfast and dinner there everyday.

Some of the nicest people in the hotel business ever. The staff --all of them --were xtremely helpful and friendly. I would return again. Lovely historic building with beautiful public room. Also, their restaurant was quite good.

The service in this place is outstanding! In fact, the person who took care of us has been with the hotel for 45 years — she was charming, gracious, and had a great sense of humor.

Our room was well-appointed (the bathroom
Jacuzzi was particularly nice).

Dinner and breakfast at their restaurant were excellent as well. Rocamadour's local
cheese are particularly delicious.

Very glad we stayed, and we'd definitely come again.

Beautiful building, fantastic views! The hotel has 2 buildings - we stayed in the one which has the dining area & restaurant. The lady at the reception was very friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and cozy - definitely recommend this hotel!
We visited in the winter when everything was quiet, in fact the only place open for dinner was the hotel's restaurant - which is a bit overpriced but the service is great!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the castle - it's gorgeous at night!

This very old building with its beautiful staircase has been transformed into a very nice hotel. You would not notice you were in a Best Western Hotel...it could be an upscale B&B. Our room was the only one with a balcony (see any picture of the front of the main building...it is in the middle). This was a nice large room with a Jacuzzi tub in the also large Bathroom. Although right on the street and across from the parking lot and other building of the hotel, it was very quiet because of the insulated updated windows and french door.

Parking may look tight but they manage to juggle the cars to get yours out if you need it.

WiFi works well but one tip.... Connecting on your phone::: when you connect and go the the browser to "register", everything is fine....however, once you leave the hotel and loose connection, when you return you MUST reconnect and return to the browser and re-register. This I discovered on my own since the very helpful staff just did not know about this.

Breakfast buffet was a little expensive but not outrageous for the selection offered.

Enjoy the town, walking, seeing the balloons at dusk, and soaking in everything and then return to this nice hotel for a good night sleep.

Stayed here with Treyn company and everyone in the group thought that the hotel was excellent as it is positioned right in the centre of Rocamadour with fantastic views from the bedroom which were well appointed, clean and quirky. As a previous reviewer writes you may be either building but agree this isnt a problem at all. The hotel staff coped very well serving the group of thirty simultanously without a hitch with very good food. Would recommend.

Room Tip: High rooms probably have best views

Excellent hotel .Staff very freindly and helpful.Food first class. The location of the hotel is good.It is on a split site .So depending on which part you are in ,you may have to cross the street to the dining area. This is not a problem.
