“November Paris Vacation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

This hotel was very practical for us, very conveniently located and very cheap as well. We stayed one night in this hotel, it's comfortable and clean with our own private bathroom, which made me nervous initially when I was booking because it was not stated in the description. But needless to say, there was one! I will stay in this hotel if ever I visit Lourdes again and I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

We originally booked Angelic & Myriam Hotel in Lourdes but alas, upon our arrival we found that it was closed because a big group of guests cancelled earlier & it was only us left. However, the staff there accommodated us in this Residence Le Soleil which belong to the same owners as Angelic & Myriam & to compensate for our trouble, they upgraded our room & provided us free breakfast. We found our room big with comfortable beds & all amenities including a little kitchen complete with all utensils! it was actually an apartelle!. They also provide free wifi & free use of their computer/internet in their lobby.. It was a walking distance to the sanctuary but farther than Angelic & Myriam & going uphill which was quite arduous for some people.Anyway, it was like a surprise treat for us for just an overnight stay & the view along the way is beautiful passing the River Gave.

We stayed here for a long weekend in October. The room we had was the 1 bed apartment, with mini kitchenette.

The room was perfect, it had a double and single in the main room, and two bunks in a side "nook".
Having the kitchenette was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel, as we like to be able to buy local food and keep wine cold. You do have to ask at reception for any appliances / cookware but they are happy to provide whatever you need!
The bathroom and kitchen looked newly refurbished and everything was beautifully clean.

Parking was on the street, and we always got a park close to the hotel entrance.

Location wise - it is a short walk to the main strip of the restaurants and also the Basilica. All flat, and a nice stroll along the river. There is also a Carrefour market a short drive / longer walk away.

Service was amazing, the man who checked us in was kind and helpful, he was very knowledgeable and just awesome.

We didn't have the breakfast, so can't comment.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to be self sufficient while having a nice spacious place to stay.

Lourdes is rarely a destination for long-stay visitors, and this hotel probably gets a high ratio of one or two night visitors.
We stayed one night, and for that, it was perfectly acceptable.
The welcome was friendly and efficient - even to the point of the receptionist suggesting that I move my car within the car park because it was currently parked under a camera that was faulty, and he'd prefer to have it fully visible ..... that's good service.
The two single beds were quite narrow, but the room was spacious and clean.
The aircon and wi-fi both operated well, and I would have no problem staying here again.

Although avarage it met family needs and we would stop again.

This was a great find! Have stayed in Lourdes frequently and don't mind a little walk- it took 5 mins to get to the st frai and 10 to the grotto. The rooms were clean, air conditioned and large for lourdes! The kitchen area was adequate and more pans avavilable on request from the very friendly and helpful staff. Having bunks set off the main room is a relief as a parent, the bathrooms were great and free parking is just over the road. You even get your own doorbell! The reception shuts at 8 or 9 but you expect that with self catering and they are happy for you to sit downstairs and chat-something frowned upon at other apartments. The breakfast they provide is fab too! We love it and so do several friends!
