“Fabulous Collection, Historic and Awesome Setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

I never really appreciated the significance of Toulouse-Lautrec until this visit. Plus, the building has a fascinating history (described in several languages on site), and the display of his contemporaries included Gaugin and Rodin sculptures, Degas and Matisse paintings...and much more.

“Greatly Improved”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

I last visited here almost 20 years ago, so a visit was on tap during my recent trip to the Toulouse/Albi area. What a great little museum, with so much HTL that you just become immersed in his world. The expansions over the years have really made this a first-rate stop that's worth the one-hour drive to Toulouse. The fact that it's next tot he cathedral helps, too. Don't miss this!

“A must for those who love his work”

A few paintings and many of his lesser works (drawings, posters, etc) in a spectacular building - enjoy both

“If you are a fan of Toulouse-Lautrec, this is for you”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

A fabulous museum devoted to his work. This was originally the collection built up by his mother and given to the nation. Certainly well worth a visit. Beautiful museum in the original Bishop's Palace next to the cathedral and very lovingly mounted.

“large amount of paintings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

We liked the display of all those drawings and paintings from Toulouse Lautrec from the time he was a young teenager to later (he died at 36). The are also other painters exposed and even a Matisse and other famous painters.
