“Outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Outstanding collection of Lautrec's works with an informative audio guide available. Lautrec grew up in Albi so the museum has taken special care with the way the exhibition is organised. The building that it housed in is special too. The museum opens at 10am but be aware that it closes from 12.30 to 2.00pm each day.

“Heavenly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

What a treat to see so much of this artist's work in one place! We loved it all and the building in which it is housed is also wonderful. It is worth purchasing the audio commentary for a fuller understanding of the works and also for information about Toulouse-Lautrec.

“Fantastic setting for an art gallery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Using the medieval former bishop's palace to house the art exhibition adds to the experience. If you don't like the paintings you can look at the architecture and explore the gardens overlooking the river and old town.

“Wonderful for Toulouse-Lautrec fans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

Just steps away from the Albi Cathedral (St. Cecile), this museum has both small and large works from all periods of Toulouse-Lautrec's life. For any former art students, it's thrilling to see the originals of so many familiar works of art. Even people who have never taken an art class in their lives will recognize some of the Moulin Rouge posters.

“Musée Toulouse-Lautrec”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

Well worth the time and visit........quite outstandingly renovated ; the exposition is facinating , and was helped well with the guardiens of the museum , who were very helpful.
l would suggest getting the ticket for the second exposition, which will cost only a couple of extra euros.
The tickets are valid for the whole day so you can leave and come back later.
Well worth the trip
