We'd pre-booked two nights in this hotel and arrived on 17th July. It was incredibly difficult to find and we drove around for almost two hours before we located it. I'd forgotten to bring my GPS Navigator with me, however, it ought to have been better sign-posted anyway.
Luckily we arrived half-an-hour before they closed the door and we were given a very warm welcome. I had a long conversation with the lady on reception who had been at this hotel in Limoges for three years, but originated from Lille.
Our room was on the first floor and was more than adequate. The beds were very comfortable and we had a view from our window over a field. The bathroom was functional, clean and easy to use, though it was quite small.
Breakfast was really good and a television with a French news channel on was satisfyingly visible to catch up on weather forecasts - it was 31 degrees while we were there.
The car park was large and the security gate was locked over night. They gave us a pass code to exit and access when we went into Limoges on both nights.
Checking out was easy and we enjoyed our stay.
We'd stayed at a Balladins in La Rochelle the night before, which wasn't nearly so comfortable.
