“Pure products and pure taste”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

In a very narrow alley. A very beautiful restaurant.
A very friendly staff and absolutely great kitchen.
We were there with our family and it was a great joy.

“Tapas and Tinto”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2012

We fell into the restaurant, after a day of travelling, tired, starving and in need of a drink. All 3 requisites were met with a reviving atmosphere, tasty tapas and fabulous Catalan red wine.
We ordered tapas for 2 as a starter, which was a double helping of whitebait, Serrano ham and lots of other nice things which I am struggling to recall. As I said - the wine was fabulous. But I do know that we enjoyed it and that we could have stopped there as it was very generous. However, spicy monkfish and smoky paella followed and we managed to force it all down somehow. The service was great and there was nowhere we'd rather have been than surrounded by walls filled with Dali and Picasso, munching on delicious food amongst a genial local crowd. Oh yes....and a couple of glasses of that wine....just to be sociable.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

A great restaurant excellent service and very good food. the sytle is Spanish and the variety of food wonderful. Its in a side alley close to the main West gate and very popular with locals. Good for couples not as much fun for families.

“Where is the Catalan influence?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2011 via mobile

Cozy restaurant with opportunity for outside dining. Service a cut above average. Only interesting part of meal was my wife's meatball main meal which consisted of meatballs in a piquant tomato based sauce. Meatballs were blend of beef, veal, and pork. Lunch pricing for "formule du jour" is reasonable in 13-15E range. Based on other reviews and because of geography we believed menu would have strong Spanish influence. Not evident.

“Excellent Food and Interesting Decor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2010

Our second visit to Perpignan, meant we had to return to Casa Sansa. Friday we had their good value three course lunch for 14 euros, Prawns were juicy and sauce piquant. Salmon for the main course was cooked beautifully, The dessert was to die for, fantastic Chocolate Torte/Cake with good vanilla ice cream and tart raspberry sauce. Good service even though we ate late. Very busy. We returned on the Sunday. Choose the 22 euro menu. Starters were good. My husbands fish and my steak were cooked perfectly. Creme Catalan was good, as was a very nice pear tart. Good central location and we have recommended this restaurant to others who have also enjoyed the food and restaurant
