On the edge of the Antigone district - 10 mins from the centre (Place du Comedie) and 5 mins from the river. Rooms are basic and small - but beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. On a busy road junction so noisy if windows are open. Not a huge selection for breakfast - but fresh fruit for the juicer and HUGE croissants and pain au chocolat.
If you want to be right in the centre - IBIS is a better location.

Ok - this hotel is not the Ritz but for the price you pay, fantastic value for money. The hotel was clean, the staff were very helpful and the hotel was in a good location being a 10 minute stroll from the Old Town and only 5 minutes stroll from the University. If you are looking for a low cost weekend away then definitely worth a look (if in the UK would also recoommend Ryanair as three nights away for my wife and I including hotel and flight only cost £150!!!).

This hotel continually came up as one of the cheapest in Montpellier. Secure parking is available for 8 euros a night - a must this close to the city centre as it appeared that there was no long term free or metered parking close by. About 5 minutes walk to place de la comedie. There are 2 Ibis hotels closer to the centre but if I recall they were quite a bit more expensive. Recommended if only for a location + price combination with parking.
