“The best sleep yet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I was only staying one night on short weekend trip visiting Montpellier Marseille and Cannes. If not for that I could have happily slept in the bed all weekend. Great value and the staff were vey helpful. It is a short walk into town which makes it really convenient plus it is only less than 10 minutes from Montpellier airport.

Room Tip: Walls are a bit thin but once you enter the bed your sleep will be so deep it just wont matter

We also stayed last weekend for the rugby. Almost everything was perfect and I would recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent english. It is only a 10 minute walk to the Place de la Comedie. It is also only 300 metres away from the Airport shuttle bus.
The breakfast was 10 Euros and whilst seems expensive you could have as much as you want, even to the extent of taking your lunch...
Just a couple of small picky points.. if you are on the road side it can be noisy with the windows open. The lift always stank of smoke and I had to use the stairs.
Great 2 noon check out time.

Room Tip: Other side from the main road.

Long weekend in Montpelleier to watch Sale Sharks v Montpelleir in the Heineken Cup. Did everything we neede it to. Very helpful friendly front desk staff, clean modern comfortable and 10 mins walk ofrom the Place Du Comadie so none of the late night noise that you would get there.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of September. We booked the room through an internet wholesaler for a much reduced price when compared to either the hotel’s own website or walk in prices. The hotel is located a couple of minutes from the Leon Blum tramway stop. It is within walking distance to Antigone, Galeries Lafayette and the old city. It is also near the river pathways for a nice walk. Restaurants are also quite nearby. The hotel staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Our room, though small, was of average size for a room in France. It was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The pillows though were too firm for us. The bathroom was large enough with an excellent shower. The room was very clean and in good order. The hotel offers free WiFi in the rooms. We decided the breakfast was too expensive - €20 for the two of us. Instead we bought croissants and coffee from the nearby market.

We recommend this hotel for it price, location, pleasant staff and good accommodation. Montpellier is a lovely town well worth visiting and this hotel will serve you well.

I found this hotel last minute, it was the only one available during the week for whatever reason. Thus, I thought I was going to be in trouble. It turned out to be just the opposite! The location was great too, the nearby tram stops allow access to everything in the city and beyond. The hotel itself was a beauty! The room (and bathroom) was nice, spacious, and clean. The staff was ever so friendly, including those who work in the breakfast buffet! They were very accommodating, each and every one of them! Whenever I plan to visit Montpellier again, I will definitely be looking to stay at the Kyriad!

Recently returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel.
This is a medium sized 3 star hotel which is well furnished in a modern style. Rooms are very clean with all the necessary furnishings and equipment. The air conditioning is much appreciated and very efficient.
As pointed out by many reviews, the staff are welcoming, friendly and polite.
Breakfast consists of all that is needed in the typical continental style of cold meats, croissants, fruit etc - plenty of choice for everybody to set you up for the day.
Do not be put off with the rather unprepossessing exterior on a busy main road - this does not matter!
It is about a 15 minute walk into town through the very unusual and interesting Antigone district. The tram stop is a mere 5 minute walk away and the public transport system is an example to others.(frequent service, cheap fares and clean)
I would heartily recommend a short break (3/4 nights) to this up and coming, trendy city and the Kyriad hotel would be very suitable accommodation for your stay.

Room Tip: Ask for the odd numbered rooms which face the quiet rear of the hotel.

We booked this at the last minute through Booking.com and got a great rate, which made us a little suspicious. However, the hotel was excellent. the reception staff spoke excellent English (they seemed to want to practise it), and were very helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and of adequate size for a stopover stay....for any more than one or two nights you might find it a little small. Very modern and clean bathroom, with best drying towels i have experienced! It is easy to drive past it on the way into the city...it is on the left as you drive up Ave,Jean Mermoz, a couple hundred metres past the obvious Mercure hotel. Only disappointment was that the limited parking was full, which means dropping bags off and a 2 minute walk from street parking behind the hotel 9make sure you have change). Fastest wi fi connection I have ever had in the bedroom.
