I had already been in this hotel when it was a Sofitel, a few years ago.
I can only confirm my good impressions and the exceptional location which is just at the conjunction between the historic city centre and the modern Antigone neighborhood.
If you come by car, you enter the Polygone (shopping centre) car park and head to level 3, where there is direct access to the Hotel lobby.
There are a few (just a handful) enclosed spaces signed as "Pullman", but I have not been offered one despite my explicit question about the availability of reserved spaces; on the reception display I have then seen "boxed spaces" advertised at a supplement of (if I remember correctly) Eur 15.
When you exit the hotel on foot, you are on the Antigone side and you also have a Polygone entrance just on the side of the hotel.
If you want to visit the city centre, you can of course go around the Polygone, but during shopping hours you can also enter Polygone (from the external entrance or even quicker from the car park) and exit directly on the pedestrian zone where you go through the triangle shopping complex and arrive directly into the "Comedie" main square.
My deluxe room had a beautiful walk in shower, there was an electronic scale and Nespresso machine.
The bathroom is not really a separate room, since there is a separate very tiny micro-room for the WC while there is no clear separation between the bedroom and the washroom with basin and shower.
I personally very much dislike the solution of the separate WC anyway, but in this case I found it way too cramped.
Despite a less than normal size of the WC itself, there was very little space and the door opening inward made things even worse.
The bed was comfortable and external sound insulation very good, with double double-glazed windows.
In my room the minibar had some soft drinks for free.
The free version of internet had restrictions and could not be used for VoIP.
Better than nothing, but I think that such restrictions should not be imposed and different levels, if really necessary, should be based on available bandwidth.
Any hotel should give decent-quality unrestricted internet included in the rate nowadays; it is a commodity just as running water.
The 42" TV had many european channels.
There was no chain/swing-bar door guard.
The room service menu was a bit limited but food was fine.
Breakfast in the restaurant on the (top) 8th floor was good and you can choose whether to stay inside or (weather permitting) outside, near the pool, with view over the city.
If you can cope with the cramped WC, this is one of the best hotels in Montpellier, with direct access from an ample public underground car park and in the perfect location to visit on foot both the historic centre and the modern Antigone and direct access to a shopping centre.

Dear Alberto P,

Thanks for your long and nice comment deposit on the Tripadvisor website.
Concerning the separation between the room and the bathroom there is a mobile partition.
I hope to see you very soon in the Pullman Montpellier Antigone.
