“Relaxing by the ocean in a huge room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Casa Pairal has a very nice courtyard, a great spot to just chill out and relax. The heated pool was welcome, since the ocean was a little too chilly for swimming. My room was very large, especially by European standards. The room was decorated with antique furniture. My only complaints were that the in room internet was spotty, and with the way the the bed was situated, the armoire couldn't be opened all the way.

We spent 3 nights in a junior suite , room 28 on 2nd floor. A pleasant shady balcony overlooked the garden and pool, A sofa and table was in the room which was quite large.
A good bathroom with separate shower, although flat surfaces were hard to come by.
Staff were very pleasant and parking was a bonus. We did not have breakfast.
Hot water did not function on our last morning and the bed side tables made of wrought iron were of such a design that watches tablets and probably teeth would fall through onto the floor! not cheap but worth 750 euros inc' parking for 3 nights.

We spent three nights at the Casa Pairal, a well run property ideally located to enjoy everything Collioure has to offer. It's an easy downhill four-five block walk from the train station.

Our room #27 was located at the top of a spiral staircase and included a nice shady patio overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was well appointed and stocked. If you are older the staircase might present a problem, we had no difficulty.

Leaving the property puts you on the main street of Collioure. We easily walked to the main beaches, restaurants, grocery store, shopping and up to the windmill.

We arrived in Collioure after ten busy days on the road. We spent one afternoon simply relaxing by the pleasant and immaculate pool.

The staff at Casa Pairal are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and plan a return visit someday.

Room Tip: When you leave the property enjoy a piece of fresh fruit that is set out on a small table outside th...

Clean and spacious room. Very quiet hotel. Our room was a little outdated but had a very comfortable bed. The pool was lovely too. All members of staff were helpful and friendly. We looked on price comparison websites to get the best deal but even at the beginning of June, the hotel was nearly full! Breakfast was expensive so we had it in a cafe facing the sea instead. We will definitely go back to Casa Pairal next time we are in Collioure.

I loved this charming little place. My room was clean and up-to-date with a nice little balcony overlooking the garden. The location made it even better; just a short walk from the train and steps to the main attractions, this was one of the best choices I've ever made.

We followed the Tripadvisor ratings for this hotel and got a reasonable price, just over E150, and must say we were pleased in every way. The room was clean, reasonably spacious and everything worked. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast service was perfect in the filtered sunny terrace. The pool is clean warm and in a nice setting. The market which is on Sunday is in the park next to the hotel.

This was our last 4 day stay on a 3 week trip and a perfect finish. It is less than a 1 minute walk to the centre of everything. Do call to get parking directions before arrival if you can because while it is a great parking lot the must open the gate for you to enter.

Room Tip: We had room 10 on the ground floor and really enjoyed the convenient access..

Secluded, peaceful and elegant in the heart of an extraordinarily beautiful seaside resort. Everything is close to this hotel; we can't imagine staying anywhere else in Collioure. Service is professional and the front desk is staffed 24/7. (The receptionist walked down the short alley to look for our car on the main street after we called looking for directions.) Our clean, modern room (#21) had a small balcony overlooking the lovely garden. As other reviewers have noted, reserve a parking spot in the hotel's secure, convenient lot (we never used the car after checking in). We paid less than 100 euros a night on a booking site, an outstanding value for a hotel worth much more. In sum, close to perfect.
