We chose to stay at La Posada based upon the Tripadvisor reviews we read, so we expected to enjoy our visit. What we didn't expect was the personalized attention that began when Enrique insisted upon picking us up (and later dropping us off) at the train station. We didn't expect that from the minute we stepped in the door, we would feel as though the only thing in the world that mattered to Enrique and Laurence was to meet our every need. This couple truly loves what they do and it pays off by making every guest feel special and important. Every detail is perfect - the atmosphere of their home, the food and drink, the history of the area, information about French culture and learning the language, etc. The warmth and good humor of this couple is genuine and rare.
We hated to leave, and hope to return some day.
