“short trip in paris”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

Me and my wife spend 3 days in Paris and in one of the evenings we had dinner at L’Atlas. We had a pretty good food (I had moules frites and my wife had the menu with white fish with potatoes) and good wine suggested by the personnel. Good service and good food, but not something that you would not find in any other 100 touristic oriented restaurants in Paris.

“Great Service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

After arriving in Paris, in the late afternoon, we just wanted a quick snack, after wondering down a few streets near our hotel we chose to eat here. We just got some light fare, mozzarella and tomato, and some wine and bread. I do not speak French, and it was my first time in Paris. The server was wonderful, spoke good English, and when we had a question that he couldn't answer he gladly got another server to answer it in perfect English. They were very friendly, and genuinely made an effort to speak to is in our language. The service was fantastic as well!

“Revisiting Atlas after 2 years: still very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

Revisited Atlas 2 years after prior visit. Didn't change at all with respect to physical appearance of venue inside or patio dining outside. Rue di Buci still vibrant and exciting but, unfortunately, tour groups now march down the street in their effort to see Paris in a 30 second stroll down the street. Menu pretty much unchanged from last visit. And that is good since I had the same wonderful beef tongue braise in a reduced braise liquid and nicely done side of veggies, my wife had a HUGE pot of perfectly done mussels mariniere (white wine, parsley, garlic). Fortunately, there were so many mussels that she needed my help to finish them off (along with crusty bread to soak up the sauce). Would certainly revisit when we are next in Paris and recommend that you also try this restaurant. Good value for the money too!

“Authentic French fare in St. Germain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

Excellent place for Normandy and Brittany oysters (you'll see that they're a little less expensive here than other places in the neighborhood), and attentive, entertaining service (especially if you speak French! But they were pleasant to the non-French-speaking American diners sitting next to us as well). Great people-watching on Rue de Buci and always a bustling place (usually a good sign that the food is good). Excellent crock pot of mussels as well as delicious beef bourgignone, served in a steaming little copper pot. Try the sea urchin--served fresh in its shell.

“Good food with great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Nice atmosphere and great service from the waiter serving us. No doubt he was not very proficient in English, he was very patient to introduce the various items on the menu - definitely deserving the tip given! The dessert selections are really good and must try is the nougat glacé.
