“Good food, ok service, needs with on atmosphere.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012 via mobile

Went as a couple after looking on trip advisor. Enjoyed the food but there was no music and the retaurant was near empty which killed the ambience. I accidentally ordered pretty much the same for starter as I did for the main which was annoying, the waiter also didn't really help with the menu as we didn't speak fluent French. But the food was well cooked and tasty.

“We'd go back again, and we did.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2011

English speaking hostess and owner greeted us warmly at the door each time. She told us (only after we inquired) that she was French, but her ancestors were Italian, which is reflected in the authenticity of the food. We ate a late night dinner of pizza and pasta at La Petit Scala, and liked it so much we ate dinner at the sister restaurant, La Scala, right next door two nights later. My wife and I ordered a pizza to share. They brought it too us sliced and presented nicely on two separate plates.
The service was very friendly and personable, but not intrusive; like we were guests in their home. The service was also much faster than most Paris restaurants, but they didn't make us feel rushed. All five of us ordered different food and all were happy.
This restaurant is at the beginning of a dead end street so it must miss out on capturing customers who are just walking by, which is the way we found most of the places at which we ate while in Paris. So take advantage; in a different location it would be hard to find an open table.

“Good, authentic Italian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2011

Had a 4-cheese pizza which wasn't bad, seafood linguine, and house red wine. Not a lot of seafood in my dish, can chalk it up to them being cheap. House wine was drinkable, not memorable. Have to rave about the fantastic service.

“Well worth a visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

We ate here on the evening of 20th August, we were looking for somewhere that suited all members of the family. We received a really warm welcome from the staff of this restaurant. We had a fantastic meal...the best ham & melon we've ever had followed by an amazing pizza and some pasta. They cooked our daughter's special order exactly as we requested. It wasn't the cheapest meal we've had but it was worth every penny. I would certainly reccomend this restaurant.
