“Lovely food and great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

We booked a table the same day, and we were lucky to get the last table. The service was great (the speak english) and the food was delicious. I would recommend to eat meat at this restaurant, because that's what they are really good at. The steak was a absolute favorite. And they serve local beer that's really good. The dessert was ok. I would recommend the sorbet above the creme brule.

“Worthy of the hype!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

Ate here16/3/14. Great food, service and value. You don't book you don't get in! Steaks are Fab 90euros for 2 starters, mains, desserts and beer. Go there! Doesn't look like the best neighbourhood but it's completely fine. Bar down the road for a pre dinner cheeky tipple. ENJOY :)

“Go to Montmatre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014 via mobile

Small and unpretentious, and all for the better. The one-man-does-everything system once again proves efficient. This waiter, who could have been pulled from a James Bond movie villain, was actually quite knowledgeable and very helpful. The reasonably priced food was on par with what we expected, but the Veloute de Champignons (a mushroom cream) was out of this world and the best we have had, ever. We will return.

“Hands down best restuarant I have eaten in Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

The food here was phenomenal, the wine even better!

I started with the duck pate and my fiance had the cheese pastry, followed then by the confit of duck and the entrecote... all plates were spotless at the end, and followed by a great desert of sweet french bread and ice cream... although my tripadvisor reviews may be minimal i can assure you have i have eaten all over the world and this would be in my top 10. Gettin gthere by metro is easy, the neighborhood a little dodgy at the start but when youre inside you totally forget where you are and are just immersed into the vibe of the kitchen. Will go back for sure!
