“Great atmosphere, great service and decor .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

We stayed in the hotel next door and this place was always likely and busy, your packed in like sardines but service was really good, the food wasn't to our liking but that's not to say it wasn't good.

“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012 via mobile

Found this traditional bistro on TA and gave it a go. I would suggest booking as it was heaving, predominantly with French people which is a recommendation in itself. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. Serves traditional basque dishes, portions are generous with plenty of bread.

“A Perfect Drinking Hole”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

We stayed next door to this bistro and the night security guard pointed it out to us as a cheaper place to eat and drink. It was always busy and lively, and we had a fantastic time using it for 3 nights. Well worth a visit and very reasonably priced.

“Good Choice When visiting Eiffel Tower”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

If you are looking for dinner options near the Eiffel Tower, might want to try Au Dernier Metro. Convenient to the tower but not a tourist trap like some places immediately in the area. Good vibe and good food.

“Basque Liveliness in Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

A friendly bistro serving Basque food and beer and always packed with people enjoying themselves. I love their crunchy pig ears (yes, you read that right) and cold cuts platters. Do check out the Basque cheese Ossau Iraty with blackberry jam. They have very good salads, tartines, omelettes and hearty main courses. The place to go if you are in the mood for a hearty feel good meal with dank basque beer or wine with a nice cold meat/cheese platter.

I have been to this restaurant several times over the last 15 years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere & food.

Prices
Starters: 5 to 10 euros; Platters: 11 to 15 euros; Menus: 14.90 euros (Lunch) and 19 euros (Dinner); Tartines & omelettes: 7 to 12 euros; Salades: 11.50 to 14 euros; Wine: 6.5 euros (25cl jug) to 30 euros (bottle)
