We came across this restaurant by chance after a long and tiring tour of the Louvre. The trip advisor logo on one of its glass windows caught our attention but we were skeptical as the place was still empty at 8pm, the waiters were sitting down looking bored. But we were tired and hungry so we decided to walk in. The people were very polite, our waiter was helpful and patient in assisting us with our food and wine choices. The place quickly filled up within a few minutes after we sat down. We had the onion soup, salmon, penne arrabiata, and tiramisu. The soup was hot and rich with generously cheesy crisp bread. The salmon was tender with the yummy herbed butter on top that adds that burst of flavor on your tongue and the vegetables on the side were blanched just right. The penne arrabiata was flavorful with enough spice to keep things interesting. Oh but the tiramisu was the show stopper! Creamy with just the right sweetness to keep you wanting for the next spoonful then another then another...must have again!
Our waiter was very friendly and was kind enough to answer our questions about directions. He patiently helped us make sense of the map. Our bill was priced just right for the excellent quality of the food and wine. We will definitely come back!
Oh by the way, we are Asian and the staff were still very courteous :)
