Le Sarladais offers reasonably priced, well-prepared, expertly served cooking from southwestern France. They have excellent cassoulet, magret de canard, confit de canard, and other similar dishes. Desserts and appetizers were delicious (although, given the size of the main portions, one might want to skip one of the two). The wine list contains a broad selection, at a good range of prices. Service was attentive, professional, and friendly. Several tables occupy little nooks, and would be ideal for quiet private dinners. We ate there midweek, so it was not too crowded in the evening, but weekend reservations would be essential. It's not cheap (three-course dinner for two, plus bottle of wine, for about 100 euros), but in terms of value for money, it's pretty hard to beat.
