We were drawn into the restaurant by the wall hung killims, white table linen, silver cutlery and sparkling glasses barely glimpsed through the profusion of outdoor greenery. The mixed message of Greco-Turkish cuisine would probably put off a few Cypriots, but not us.
We had the lunch time express menu which looked expensive when compared to all the surrounding Chinese buffet style restaurants, but turned out to be as much as we could eat.
Houmous, and Tsatiki with piping hot bread followed by chicken skewers and Adana Kebap served with side salad and bulgar wheat, washed down by some very nicely chilled Greek rose wine. It was a shame that we were the only people in the place as the atmosphere would be great and the owner happier, if it were full.
