Description: Situated in one of the hottest areas of Paris, in the 5th arrondissement opposite the iconic Notre Dame and close to the Saint Michel metro station is the brasserie restaurant Le Petit Pont. Enjoying an incredibly privileged position, the restaurant is open for breakfast from 8am until 11.30am serving poached eggs, various cold meats, cheese, seasonal fruits and pastries. Lunchtimes and evenings offers a choice of two menu styles- Italian and French, the latter including the most delicious meat from Auvergne. The soothing sounds from the piano create an intimate atmosphere and the special cocktails prepared by the barman are just divine.

“Look elsewhere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We were recommended to try 'Le Petit Pont' as it was close to Notre Dame. We were disappointed with the service and facilities. Ladies toilet not working and very smelly! Reading other reviews on other cafe's it appears that the 'old boys club' like to take their own service fee as their tip. Here is a tip, you get paid a tip if you provide good service and you get good reviews if your guests like your venue. Try other smaller not so popular cafes as there are plenty to choose from.

“It's fine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

We had lunch here. The location is fabulous. It is an outdoor cafe with a perfect, unobstructed view of Notre Dame.

The food was fine. Everyone was polite, in a rushed way. We didnt see any of the negative things that other people gave complained of.

I doubt that you'd want to have dinner here.

“Ok... Crowded and $$$$$”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

Very crowded, really expensive. Our limonade and biere were 16 eros. Paying for great people watching. Mobbed with folks coming from countless sights (including ourselves). Cannot blame the cafe for high price- high rent area, no doubt! So go, but know it is tourist haven.

“Aggresive consultation of clients! ”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

Looked good, oldest son needs to go to the toilet and we would like to eat something, so went down, the boss came putting down the stuff, was very rude and agressive in taking up what we would eat! Another waiter asked earlier what we want to drink! Luckily we took the medium cola for us and small for the kids, medium was like 0,5 liter! We sat outside and constantly the boss and female waitress are pulling to tourist on an agressive way (card in hand and asking how many), a woman asked do you have a palate? Boss said yes but this was not on card...prices very high for low quality of food, we took BLT sandwhich and there were bones in the bacon! We will never go back!

“Excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Excellent location close to Notre Dame and one of the best mixed grills we ever had. Also, very tasty ratatouille.
