“Great atmosphere, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

We had a lovely evening in this restaurant with a long history. The staff was very friendly, despite the fact it was very busy. Enjoyed the "choucroute" and the other dishes.

“Last night in Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Wonderful food, classic French bistro, frequented by locals as well as visitors. Wonderful sole meuniere. A little hard to find, but well worth the trip.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Whilst we really enjoyed the setting and the decor, I wouldn't rate this place as highly as others have.

I thought the food was ok but nothing special, and certainly not as good as we've had in other Parisienne restaurants for the same money.

The service was attentive to begin with but once the restaurant filled, it dropped off considerably. Judging by the pace that some of the wait staff were moving at, I would say they were very much under-staffed on the night.

“A Traditional Brasserie”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

A great night was had by all - 3 Americans, a french friend who lives in Paris, and her dog! The food was excellent -sole muniere, onion soup, sea bass and very well prepared escargot. A fine selection of wine and very good deserts. You can get a menu in english, but the selections sound better in French. Best to take a taxi to and fro as parking is almost impossible and the neighbor is a little iffy. We first went to Brasserie Flo in the mid '70s, and found the food and experience as good now as it was then.

“Authentic french”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

The restaurant was recommended to us by a chef friend and we found it to be a great example of authentic French Brasserie food. The menu is all in French, so if you don't speak it, don't forget your dictionary, but overall it was a great expereince. The staff were attentive, the food delicious and the atmosphere charming. Would never have found it without the recommendation.
