Stayed with my 62 year-old mom (I'm 30) in a twin room for 5 days. This hotel is perfect for travelers searching for a good value for their money, but keep in mind it is a 2-star hotel and that is what you get.
The room is extremely small and one of our luggages (both medium sized) had to stay on the floor. This was not, however, a very serious problem, since we did not go to Paris to stay indoors. It is comfortable enough to sleep in and that is what matters. Even though our second-floor room had a street view, we were not bothered by noise, as the windows were soundproof. Only occasionally did the noise of an ambulance or of a particularly loud engine seep through. I felt the walls were a bit thin and could let noise from other rooms come through, but in all fairness that did not seem to be the case (maybe we had silent neighbors, I don't know). We could hear the guests from neighboring rooms when they walked the corridors to enter or leave their rooms.
Beds were clean and the mattresses were comfortable. I found the pillows a bit too hard. Floors are carpeted.
The bathroom is also extremely small, but very clean and well-kept. An average-sized person has enough room to bathe and use the other bathroom facilities with ease, but getting dressed inside the bathroom is a bit uncomfortable.
The staff was always really nice and accomodating. Much nicer than one would expect from Parisians.
The subway station located 3 minutes on foot from the hotel can take you to the Ile de la Cite in no more than 10 to 15 minutes. The region around the hotel has nice cafes and bistrots and some of them stay open until later (it can surprise you how early restaurants close in Paris).
All in all, this is a very reccomendable hotel and can be a relatively cheap and comfortable option in Paris. Please do not expect any luxuries and be prepared to feel a little bit cramped, but do not give up because of that. I would definitely stay there again when traveling a little short on the money.
