“Little place with little price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Last years was one of the most busiest years of my life. I came to Paris for a short business trip and stayed here. I didn't get the chance to book hotel this time so one of my business associates did the work for me, I was little bit worried about the value from hotel Bellevue.

When I landed to Paris I got into a taxi and came to the hotel, it looked nice and well decorated. I was well received. I stayed here for a week, when I asked my associates for the price I was surprised to hear the price, which was really cheap. The place is really cool I was able to go to Church cause it was nearby.

The hotel is kind of small but yet beautiful. You can find some really cool restaurants as they are close to the hotel. I didn't get that much of chance to stay in the hotel as I had to run for business meetings but It was really easy to find transport from this place to other places.

Staffs are nice and friendly.

I believe the most amazing thing about this hotel is cheap price and if it is your business trip then this hotel is highly recommended.

Very friendly staff.
Excellent location: the hotel is in a nice area. Main attractions is in within walking distance (10-45 minutes), or you can use subway (5 lines are next to hotel).
Rooms have normal sizes for a comfortable staying.
Soundproofing (there was some trafic noise from the street, but no noise from neighbors)

We stayed here after a 10-day group tour and we were so glad to finally stay in a nice hotel again.

Location is across Gare Saint Lazare. It is near the Opera and the Galleries La Fayette but not so close to be in the middle of the chaos. Brasseries, restaurants and a Starbucks are nearby. Free hi-speed wifi. Room (205) had a balcony with a nice view. The staff are not smiley-friendly but they help you the best they can.
There was no free breakfast though. And I could hear the noise of cars at 2nd floor (I'm a light sleeper, my husband didn't have a problem with it though) There was also an intermittent murmur-like sound, like a water tank refilling but it was no biggie. Just bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

The hotel is a walk away from many major attractions, the least of which la madeleine church, champs Elysees, Lafayette, Chapelle expiatoire and many shopping locations . Not to mention its strategic location when it comes to transportation: Bus, Metro, trains, tgv's, are all arround the hotel. No need to walk more than 30 seconds to get anywhere at anytime with any means. The price was great ( make sure you book in advance) and the rooms were clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Will stay there again for sure . Try it yourself and let me know what you think...

Room Tip: rooms on the high levels are quieter. Also request a view facing the Gare St Lazare.

I choose this hotel for its location and price (less than 100euro per night). It was a good deal.
The hotel is in a very nice location. It's near St. Lazare mrt, rer, train station, so travel was convenient. A convenient store and starbucks nearby. There are also several restaurants about a small block away.
For those who want to shop, Printemps and Lafayette are 10minutes walk away.
The rooms are small but clean. But enough space for our huge suitcases. It has a small elevator, max of 3 persons.
One thing we didn't like was the hallway lighting. It was dark. The lights automatically turn on when one is detected, but still it was warm light and doesn't create a lively mood.
It's value for money.

So in Paris you have two options with hotels typically: splurge on a fancy place to have the Paris experience, or find a nicely priced hotel that is clean and convenient. This is the latter.

We went for a weekend getaway to Paris from London, stayed 3 nights and 3 days at this little spot close to Gare du Nord. Its a smaller hotel, elevator is TINY - but it is Europe, that is pretty standard. The beds were very comfortable, they had extra blankets, there was a safe in the room, free reliable wifi, and clean shower - plus maid service daily. The hotel also offered breakfast daily at a decent rate, although we did not try it.

Overall this is a great little hotel if you are going to be out and about in Paris. We spent minimal time in the room and just wanted something clean, safe, and friendly to lay down at night - its exactly what we got - at a very good price. There are two metros within 5-minute walks, also tons of cafes within 3 minutes on Haussman Boulevard, plus Printemps is literally a 6 minute walk away and there is a taxi stand 2-minutes away around the corner.

Convenient, clean and friendly - at a good price - absolutely great if that is what you are looking for!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

We have stayed here 3 nights and left with largely positive feelings, although there are some cons.
Firstly Pros: good location in the centre and proximity to the metro station, relatively large room and bathroom, clean, warm (March has been pretty chilly).
Cons: location is during weekdays too busy - traffic jams resulting in quite a big noise in the room (despite the new windows that cannot silence this) almost every night the yelling sirens of emergency cars waked me up ( and I am very good sleeper). The breakfast is not really great - tea or coffee, one croissant and piece of baguette with butter and jam for 6 Euro. Upon request they provide 0,2 juice and that's all.
Services - reception and breakfast staff are willing to help - however if you do not speak French, their understanding is bit limited. Wi-Fi at the room is not available (6th floor) - both due to lack of signal and also you need to purchase password. My advice is to switch off Wi-Fi feature on your mobile during night - as mine got completely discharged through the night as wrestling with the weak signal.
The hotel corridors, stairs and the lift are very small - but we had no issue with that as we were travelling light.
Overall this hotel is not bad, on the other side given the price, it is also not providing exceptional value for your money. The fact that the hotels in Paris tends to be generally quite expensive and not always clean and roomy is not making my assessment more favourable.
