“Great spot in Paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

We lived our stay here! The entire Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are nicely appointed - my only caution is the street noise. If you are a light sleeper you may want to have some ear plugs as it is surrounded by brasseries and clubs. We would stay there again but will be prepared.

This is a delightful little hotel and perfect for a short city break. Rooms, decor and cleanliness are all of a very high standard and staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is also superb with the usual selection of fresh juice, fruit, cereal, coffee, croissants etc. The hotel is minutes from the RER and Metro and within walking distance of many of the main Paris attractions. The district is lively with cafés, restaurants and shops but the streets are narrow so there is very little traffic and noise levels are relatively low. I'd love to go back to Paris and would most definitely stay here again!

I stayed in the hotel during March, 2014, and I have a very positive experience in all aspects. The room - though small, like in most central Paris hotels, is smartly furnished in a way which makes it seem more spacious. And the bathroom is relatively large, which means that you don't have the feeling of suffocation you have in most central Paris hotels.
The rooms seem recently renovated and are comfortable and very clean.
The location is another big plus of the hotel, which is situated in one of the most central locations in Paris, walking distance from a lot of attractions, as well as subway stations which help you move around the city. I'd stay there both for business as well as for leisure!
Last, but not least, I think the staff is very helpful and polite, giving the extra touch to a very nice overall experience.
I would definitely recommend, and I'm sure that it will be one of my first choices for staying in Paris.

We ended up at this hotel after an apartment rental didn't work out. We were a bit stressed, having to find a hotel at the last minute and walked into this one off the street. Luckily for us, the desk clerk, Vincent, was really helpful. In order to stay there for the full twelve days we had left in Paris, we had to take four different rooms, since they were almost full, but we were glad to do that, just to put an end to our dilemma. Having stayed in those four rooms, I can say with confidence that their accommodations are great. The rooms are a good size for Paris, with large beds and very well appointed bathrooms. The buffet breakfast was delicious and we liked the casual atmosphere, where you could help yourself to more coffee or whatever you liked. But the best thing about the hotel is their charming, well-trained, professional staff. They booked restaurants, gave suggestions for places to eat and days out, and were so incredibly helpful with so many aspects of our stay that we decided we were better off in that hotel than we would have been in an apartment. After all, service is exactly what a hotel can provide that a rented place cannot.
A note on the location. The hotel is walking distance from almost every touristy thing you might want to do. The neighbourhood is still a bit edgy and you want to be alert for pickpockets, especially on the metro, but there were tons of people on the streets every evening and we never felt unsafe.
I'm writing this review because in the many times we've been to Paris, we have never had such a positive experience at a hotel. Thanks so much to Vincent and all the staff.

I would definitely stay here again for the location alone. Easy walk to all the main sights and in an excellent location in the 1st arrondisement. Loved our room, much bigger than I expected for Paris and an excellent shower tall enough for those over 6 feet! Staff was friendly and a good price for off season. Breakfast room service was great.

I did go back to Paris and stayed again in the Hotel "Le Relais des Halles". Nothing changed and the Service was excellent as before. This is for me the best Hotel in Paris. The Price in January was although higher than in August, but worth every Euro.

Fantastic property, wonderful location and great staff. Easy to walk to all the main attractions in the central part of the city and loots of good advice and recommendations given by the professional and friendly Vincent. The breakfast room is small but adds to the charm of the whole establishment. Not much more to say other than I look forward to returning.
