“Simple but stylish; new and clean; a great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

A small and simple hotel, with small rooms, but everything is new and immaculately clean and the hotel has some very stylish touches. If you are looking for a hotel in this price category and in this neighborhood you couldn't possibly do better than this one. It is across the street from the Cambronne Metro station, which is very convenient, and a short walk from the Champs de Mars, Eiffel Tower, and Invalides. If you are there on a Sunday or Wednesday don't miss the farmers market under the elevated metro line on the Blvd. de Grenelle, a very short walk away; it is one of Paris's best farmers markets.

We stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are small by U.S. standards, but very comfortable. It's just steps away from the 6 Metro (Cambronne stop) and nestled in a quaint neighborhood away from more touristy locations, which allowed us to experience more of a community. A supermarket and sightseeing bus stop are just blocks away, and the cafes and bakeries are plentiful. The hallway walls and doors are pitch black so brace yourself the first time you step off the tight elevator and the motion detector takes a few seconds to signal the lights. The rooms are white and airy, with cute little top hat ceiling light shades. We had rooms with verandas that had a view of the Eiffel Tower. Since we were on different floors we took the beautiful spiral red-carpeted staircase that even with it's contemporary design, still harkened back to another era. Benedict at the front desk was gracious and accommodating.

Room Tip: Seems that the rooms ending in 05 might be the largest. We had 06 and 03 and they were probably the...

We ended up staying here after another reservation fell through. Myself and my daughter who needed somewhere to feel safe on our own. Great reception staff who made us feel welcome. Room a little small but as we were out all day t did not matter. Great shower with huge shower head. Lots of little cafes all around which were lovely. Right beside the subway line. We definitely would recommend and also use again.

Excellent desk service and very friendly
Great location with a bakery very close and metro station opposite
Breakfast available although 3.50 Euro for a machine coffee wasn't worth it - go to bakery for 2 Euro coffee and croissant
Room is small, but quiet despite being opposite train

The hotel is very near the Metro and near means just a few steps away from the hotel. The hotel is small, but looked like they tried to maximize the interiors, its nice. Initially we have a problem with our romm and they needed us to get another room eventhough we are a family of three and we usually stay in one room, so we asked for an extra bed and the staff is a bit curt and not flexible. so we got another room ,paid for it but we did not use it!! The room was so small, no wonder he cannot provide us with an extra bed.The room was clean, nice shower head although the bathroom was really small. When we checked out the other room he provided us, the one we paid but did not use, its the same size and smells of cigarette smoke. The next day, its another staff who deal with us, this one has more common sense and more accomodating, so he let is stay in the same room without asking us to get another room! talk about stardardizing, one is saying another thing. Just for him ,he made up for what the other guy was lacking although they snatched one night room cost from us. This guy even arranged our check out for the next day and our transportation. I didnt get his name, but thank you.

The Hotel was great. Stayed 8 nights. I will defiantly recommend the property. Super great location. My wife says just like you see in movies. Great view of the Eifel Tower with double window opening to a balcony so you can see the lights at night. Very clean, Bed was very comfortable. cannot say enough about the staff being very helpful. we will go back there again. The noise was fairly loud but not bad when the windows were opened, could not believe how soundproof the room was when they were shut.

Room Tip: ask for a view of the tower
