Super small rooms with hardly any room to lay out our suitcases to get organized! Also no tea/coffee amenities... Just an empty bar fridge.

Staff were friendly... So far...but after driving around Europe 2000kms later, they wouldn't dare be rude with me! ;)

Central location and so far so good!

Ps. There is parking across the road, so make sure you either know French, or have someone translate to the garage as they speak ZERO English ;)

I don't think the hotel leaves up to the expectation of 4 out of 5 reviews reviewed by others. The only nice thing about this hotel is the design and the brand new feeling of it.
Do beware that if you do not have breakfast stated as an option when you book, take it as it is. Do not be fooled when the reception tells you breakfast is ready and all you can eat.
Though train station is in front of the hotel, it takes at least 20 mins to travel to the city center which is not a great deal at all and worst part, the metro is not a direct train there.
I stayed for 3 nights with an extension night, the reception first quote me a price at 143 euros, but then when he saw I booked through agoda, he quickly change the price to 158 euros and pleaded with me to accept that price or the boss is going to kill him. LIKE WTF!
For the price, it's completely not worth it

Just returned from our second trip to Paris. We book the First Hotel for the price and location, close to the Eiffel Tower and across from the metro station. Our flight got us to Paris early in the morning. We got to the hotel expecting to have to leave our bags and come back many hours later to check in at the posted time. We were pleasantly surprised to only have to wait about an hour for a room(spent the time eating breakfast a nearby cafe). The room was in the back of the hotel with no view, but considering the time we actually spent in the room, it was fine. The "motion-sensor" hallway lighting was a bit strange. We would open our room door or step out of the elevator into a pitch black hallway and have to wait a few moments for the lights to come on. The only issue we had was that the entire place was EXTREMELY hot and stuffy--the lobby, hallway and our room. The thermostat in the room didn't work, so we had the windows wide open during our entire stay to keep us comfortable. We didn't choose to eat the hotel's breakfast instead opting for the much cheaper pain au chocolat or chausson aux pommes from the place right around the corner. We had a fabulous long weekend in Paris and would consider First Hotel for our next visit.

A success with few drawbacks.

This hotel was booked for me because of its location - near UNESCO buildings. An easy walk, with plenty of good eating places and bars nearby. And right next to Metro Camborne - which if coming from CDG Airport means a swicth on RER at Denfert Rochereau.

No one at the reception desk when I arrived - admitedly it was late - but check-in worked well when eventualy we managed to find someone.

A good room at the back - 08 - away from the traffic noise. Good shower, bed and TV channels. Wifi worked too. So what's to complain. But then that's the drawback as it was next to the elevator! Earplugs solve all though.

i also opted to do without the breakfast and took those instead in the local bar/restaurants. Seemed part of the experience as well as cheaper.

Check out also worked well.

Room Tip: rooms at front 1-6 have view but traffic; 8 has no vew or traffic but near elevator: perhaps 7 is be...

The hotel is in a great location, right across from the metro station which was very convenient. The area is nice, feels safe and some a few good places to eat at, although nothing too special.
Breakfast at the hotel in the morning was expensive, but it was worth it ! It included lots of organic options and the baked goods were to die for !!

the room was the smallest room we have ever stayed at in any hotel, but the view of the Eiffel Tower which could even be seen as you were lying in bed made up for it !!

the hotel looks trendy, we did not mind the dark corridors and funky elevator, it was fun.

The room was not ready for us, even though we asked months in advance if we could have early checkin if possible (usually other hotels accomodate us). The receptionist was pretty friendly (although with the help of a big tip)

it was a great stay, but we will try another hotel next time we are in Paris

We had a great time at the first hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights and went as a couple. The room was very clean and modern also it was cleaned on a daily basis. We stayed in room 501 the view from the effiel tower from our window was amazing!! The staff working at the hotel were very helpful and spoke good English. The location is great It took us around 15mintues to walk to the Effiel tower and also the metro station cambronne is right across the street i wasnt sure about the metro before we went but while i was there i found it really easy to follow and a great way to travel around. It was a lovely area to stay in with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants that wernt to expensive.

A really nice hotel, new, very clean and good quiet location. The metro station is right across the street, Eiffel tower is a short walk away (three metro stops). The staff were very helpful and nice. Rooms are a bit small but clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was no noise coming from the street. The breakfast is a little expensive for what you get, so we went out. There are some nice "braseries" in the vicinity that serve breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes modern style hotels.
