At the reception - old lady who only spoke French (but we didn't)
View - terrible on the dirty backyard
Room - small and we find this overpriced for what we get
Location - good, short walk to underground

Rooms: Our room's had En-suite private wc and shower.
Bedsheets had stains and hole(only in the double room) The triple room sheets were fine.
Paperthin walls could hear other occupants next door and above, and whenever someone went up and down the stairs.
The noise from the flats opposite to the back of the hotel (noise on one night stay).
Convenience: nearby supermarket,grocery and restaurants and voltaire metro. (avg 5 minute walk)
cleanliness: No one cleaned the rooms, we had to hand over the our own rubbish to the cleaning lady. Who only asked us if we needed our towels changed.

Recommended: if deep sleeper and travelling in group on budget. Should possibly be avoided otherwise as couples and single could get cheaper options in a more central location for about the same price (maybe minus the ensuite wc & shower)
Good grasp of french would be ideal if you plan on staying at the hotel as no english was spoken.

Room had a very aweful disgusting smell. Beds were comfortable and clean , bathroom was clean ,short walk to metro but this did not compensate for the stench in the room. Carpet was filthy.Would not recomend this hotel. Breakfast was 3 Euro for coffee and a half a bagette seved on a seviette. Was not impressed at all.

i recently booked rooms on Late rooms.com,i was shocked at the hotel i was at,it is was not clean i had to buy cleaning products to clean the shower,the room had peeling and stained wallpaper,an old tablecloth on the table a very worn and dirty looking bedspread,their was no view (just into the back of other apartments),the tv is broken along with the elevator and i was on the 4th floor, when i got up the next morning i adjusted the pillow and underneath the sheet was a load of black hair I nearly vomited the flaming bed wasnt clean,(i,m a redhead)
The hotel, i had booked was HOTEL GARDEN (PARIS).
1 RUE DU GENERAL BLAISE, PARIS, 75011.
They seeminly chronicily overbooked and put me in a hotel next store Hotel Rhetia ,i wanted to move to another hotel but their is no manager until Monday morning, i tried to cancel with the number provided -madame jebo(i think thats how you spell it), at 19.10 sat night she could not understand english ,and the number provided no answer, and to really insult me i was charged 65euros and the place i am staying is is 1star at 31 euros a night (which was the tarrif written on the wall),i i booked 3star,I was going to another hotel the next day and i didnt trust that it would be okay,When i checked out, the bill was reduced to 46euros and finally to 40 (i just wanted to get the hell out of there)i feel at this day and age there is no excuse for dirty hotel rooms and the person that gave them one star i would love to know what era was that in and why,I hold the Hotel Garden responsible for a)changing my hotel with no warning,and B)not finding a proper alternative unless of course their hotel is in the same catogory and they see it matchs their hotel Class,It was my first trip to Paris and thankfully the next hotel i stayed in the next day, which i had also previously booked with late rooms.com also was great and i enjoyed it and it was what i had expected from the website,
I have never spent a night in a worse Hotel and i have travelled quite a bit,their are hotels inAtlantic city New York (which they rent by the hour )that are the Ritz compared to this hotel,PS-this is the first time i have used this site as i feel everyone deserves to make a living but this is not acceptable, it is taking advantage of Tourists and their is no excuse
