“B-day weekend in paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

We loved the service, the nice breakfast, the comfortable beds and the location is just fantastic. In my view, l'empire has the best quality/price ratio in Paris. Went there before and will come back again.

I spent 4 days in Paris in April 2014, staying at this lovely hotel. the place is very smart will all the bits and bobs you need, including in house massages if you've had a long day out enjoying the city.

I've travelled a lot through work over the past 20 years, mostly in 5* hotels across America. the standard and friendliness over there is impeccable and these guys stood up to that and more.

The receptionists and concierge were top rate, and indeed the highlight of the already lovely place. sorting out for me some massages and dinner reservations was no problem, they help in so many ways i'm now guaranteed to book here again for my next Paris trip.

I don't normally write reviews but this one needed writing, what a marvelous place with marvelous people.

It's a 2 minute walk from the Louvre too, perfectly located to visit all the main sites and splendour Paris has to offer.

Room Tip: i had a small suite, lovely. it had a view of a small inner garden with a tree which was obviously v...

We ate dinner and had drinks in the hotel bar and had wonderful service from Mirko. Mirko was very welcoming and attentive which made for a great experience. The service was so great we came back another night that Mirko was working and received excellent service again.

We'll be recommending this hotel to our friends because of him. Thanks Mirko!

My wife and I, and two friends absolutely loved this hotel. Even though it is located in an ally so there is no view, the proximity to the Louvre and shopping district made the location perfect. Small boutique style hotel with a phenomenal staff that will do anything to make you happy. We wanted the full experience and it definitely didn't disappoint. Being a hotel snob, I was very apprehensive at first, but my wife made me step out of my comfort zone and I'm glad we did. If you are looking for a hotel with 4 restaurants, 200 rooms etc, this is not your place. If you are looking for a nice stylish room, great service, a nice small personable restaurant for a quick meal and a great bartender for that quick drink before you go out, this is the place for you! They definitely take pride in service and took great care of us. We are heading back to Paris in a few months and wanted to stay again, but unfortunately they didn't have the room for us, but we definitely plan to stop by and say hi.

We stayed for a couple of days in April the location of the hotel is excellent, providing walkable access to all the key sites. The rooms are clear, stylish and spacious. The breakfast is well worth having and all of the reception staff were extremely helpful, organising taxis, providing directions and answering our questions

Room Tip: There are basement rooms so if you want a view be sure to say so

My wife and I drove to paris for the weekend,we wanted a hotel that was central to visit the louvre,we read the reviews and took a chance to stay,we couldn't have chosen a better hotel,it was close to the metro, the rooms were spotless, close to the shops, beautiful restaurants and bistros were a plenty close at hand, the concierge couldn't have done any more for us.we didn't have breakfast, because we were up all night celebrating Ireland winning the 6 nations, very friendly front desk,
