“You get what you pay for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

Pros - Room clean
Did not have a shared bathroom
Close to all amenities and sites
Friendly staff
Cheap

Cons-
Rather small
No air con
Tiniest lift ever - room for 1 person
Noisy from road day amd and night

We did not want to pay the typical over priced rate for a hotel in Paris so am glad we booked here. Would stay again if returned.
If you are looking for more luxury find somewhere more upmarket.

My husband and I stayed here last month for six days. The apartment is very clean and well kept and the building is secure. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Kitchenette is very small but functional and we saved money by cooking breakfast, having drinking water on hand and preparing snacks. There are grocery stores, fruit stands and wonderful bakeries nearby. We did eat most of our dinners out. There are hotels in this price range so keep in mind one of the things you give up is service. There is no one to help you with directions or tours etc. Unless you enjoy the adventure of finding your way around and don't mind taking the metro, bus or taxi, this is not the place for you. This is not walking distance to any major attractions. Contrary to what the advertisements say, it is well off the beaten track.
When you fly in keep in mind that this is closer to CDG Airport and on the opposite side of the city from the Ory airport. A taxi cab ride from either airport can be $60 plus.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the neighborhood was very noisy at night. There are two restaurants on the opposite side of the street that draw crowds. During our stay there was also construction. There were people yelling, singing and racing motor bikes in the streets as late as 2:00 a.m. On the plus side, it was nice to have a little more room than a hotel.

I was traveling with my son, so we wanted more space and separate single beds (hard to find). The apartment was larger than a hotel room and the kitchenette was a wallet saver, there is a grocery store on the same block! The location is close to two Metro stops (Guy Moquet and Brochant) and the neighborhood is fine, nothing special.
The space was clean and tidy and the kitchen was equipped - the best part was the savings over alternatives. One extremely important tip; coordinate your arrival with the management company prior to your arrival, the building is locked and it is necessary for them to meet you at the apartment -- keep their phone number handy, they respond immediately. The managers are extremely helpful and friendly.
