“Small but nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Our room was ok, except for the Bed, and bathroom. VERY small. We were in room 12 level 2.
bath was 4x4. bedroom 7" between bed and wall, bath on the inside. Nice staff, great location
in the quarter. We had trouble with Wi Fi, had to sign in constantly. Not cheap like most hotels in Paris, around $500 @ night. We did have a nice Living room and a full kitchen.

We stayed at the Residence 7 nights at the end of August with my family. We were three persons in one room with two bedrooms . At another room, my other brother, with wife and 2 children. We were very happy, and would love to stay there again.
The rooms were very spacious and had a very nice furnishing. There were big wardrobes at the rooms, something difficult to find in another hotels or residences. Beds and materasses were very comfortable.
Personal is lovely and give you all directions you want, providing also reservations for shows or city tours. I intend to come back when staying in Paris, especially if going with family again.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

My husband and two boys (ages 5 and 7) stayed two nights at this hotel at the very end of our trip to France.

Upon arrival we entered a beautiful reception room and were greeted warmly by the hotel management. We had originally booked the 2 Room Suite "Le Charmeur", which consisted of a bedroom and a living room with a pull-out couch. We were surprised by an up-grade into a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with large kitchen and living room/dining room. It was wonderful luxury and a lovely way to end our trip to France. I did not want to leave.

The breakfast in the morning was excellent.

The location is very easy walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens, which is where we spent most of our last two days with our children.

The staff was wonderful. They provided excellent recommendations on places to have dinner. They also were exceedingly patient listening to my semi-bilingual husband and french-immersion children speak French. However, what truly topped off their service is what they did when my 5 year old left his black stuffed puppy (known as "puppy") in our suite on the day of departure. If anyone has small children, who are attached to a stuffy for bedtime, you can understand the type of parental panic this can create. My husband and I are thinking about where and how we could sneak in a replacement (if we could find one) that looked just well loved enough to convince our son. But, we didn't need to worry, the staff at Le Prince Regent mailed "puppy" to our home address in Canada...free of charge. Incredibly kind and classy. We WILL stay again.

Special thanks to Carla and Kelly for organizing "puppy's" trip home and into the arms of our little boy.

We stayed in room 12 (Le Charmer) and it was fine for our family of 4. The apartment is long and narrow with a toilet and tiny sink in the hallway next to the kitchen counter and a shower and sink off the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and full size. Very nice soft linens/towels. The fold-out bed in the living room was fine for our two teens. Very clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is in a modernized basement space. They serve the usual baguettes, jam, cheese, yogurt, cereal, coffee (milk only) or tea, and juice. We were a bit disappointed that the front desk charged us 20 Euros to book our excursion to Versailles. They could have told us that the tourism office is just down the street or at least let us know that there would be a charge to book things. She spent 3 min on the phone (in front of us) to book it and we thought it was part of the front desk service. I would stay there again for sure. You really can't beat the location!

This hotel is a stones throw from the Luxembourg Gardens, and a very short walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. The location is fantastic, with so many key sites within walking distance and easy access to the Metro. The latin quarter is definitely the place to stay. The 2 bedroom apartment is quite spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine, which came in handy. We had 2 couple and 2 babies stay and there was plenty of room. The apartment is very modern and very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend adding breakfast to your booking as it is very minimalistic and the room is incredibly small and very hot from the day spa. Also, take the stairs!! The lift is tiny and very scary. Not good if you don't like confined spaces. On the bright side, you won't beed to worry about how many croissants you have while in Paris. I would definitely stay here again due to the convenience of this hotels location and the spaciousness of the apartment.

Nice little hotel in a very convenient location within a close walk to Odeon metro south of the river.
The room was smart modern and clean, with a functional small kitchen area. The bedroom itself was surprisingly large for Paris, with the bathroom on the smaller side. The road the hotel is on is quiet which was exactly what we wanted, no noise problems.
The SPA was small but nice and clean. A minor niggle was we were not able to use the small pool one day as we were told that there was too much chlorine in the water and that was being sorted out. Also it would have been nice to be told that Sunday they did not have the SPA opened all day, which we found out when we turned up at 3PM looking to use the steam room.
Apart from that the concierge and people at the SPA were very friendly and helpful with any information we asked for. Would definitely look to come back to this hotel and the area of Paris is ideal for staying in.

The location is what really made staying here. From the apartment we were able to walk to a lot of the main tourist attractions: Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Les Catacombes. The area around the hotel is lovely with plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets and the Jardin du Luxemboug only minutes away.

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for the short stay. In addition it had some special touches with a docking station, coffee machine and fantastic shower. The only negative was if we left any breakfast dishes on the table on the room the room service would not clean that area of the room.
