“Boutique Hotel matches Four-Star Rivals!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

A real boutique gem that matches 4 star hotels note for note!
I've stayed in Park Hyatts and Four Seasons around the globe.
This place matches them for amenities and service, but trades the impersonal big holel feeling for friendly, warm and welcoming! The location is a quiet and lovely neighborhood in the 16th arroundisement, walking distance from The Arc and Champs Élysées, with a handy metro station just a block or two away. Fab location!

The hotel decor is charming, combining clean features with pops of color and whimsy. The rooms and bathrooms are so comfy and spacious! Great bathrooms, great water pressure. Powerful hairdryer, lots of products. Quiet. The staff was chatty and fun and friendly and always willing to go that extra mile to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we could need. They simply love being of service and helping you create a memorable stay. It was worth every penny, and I can't recommend them more highly. I joined TripAdvisor just so I could recommend them. That's how impressed we were with the quality of this boutique hotel.

Room Tip: The Fantasie room faces a lovely inner "roof" garden and is very quiet. We loved it!

The Jays Paris is a very high class property. The rooms are very spacious and wide open. Our suite was large just like we requested. The hotel is very clean and very nice to be in. The staff are exceptionally friendly and nice.

Jays Paris is a fantastic place to stay. I can't recommend it highly enough. When you arrive (and the concierge will arrange for you to be picked up at the airport and transported to the hotel) the blue and white building is oh so French and beautiful and you know you are about to enter a special place.

There is a receptionist and concierge on duty at all times and everyone speaks English but if you speak French and want to practice, this is the place to do it. No one will snicker at your mistakes. The public areas are light and airy and beautifully decorated. I do wish they had an elevator but when you see that amazing marble staircase and chandeliers, you will want to walk up and down just to enjoy their beauty. It was like being in a royal palace. There are fresh flowers, lots of light, and a warm welcome.

There are two floors of rooms and suites and they are light, airy, beautifully decorated and elegant. There is a lot of space in the rooms- no cramped tiny rooms as in many Paris hotels- and there are huge comfortable beds (kings included), classy large bathrooms with soaking tubs and showers and feature expensive deluxe amenities. So many hotels worldwide are rather dark and poorly lighted or have dark colored furnishings but not Jays Paris. There is a huge amount of natural light in the rooms and the furnishings are brightly colored or pastel. They are downright cheerful, happy rooms that will lift your mood. You also get a large flat screen HD television with 150 channels and free wi-fi in your room.

I can't eat a lot of heavy food in the mornings so their pretty breakfast area is ideal for me as they serve a lovely and delicious continental breakfast including the tastiest croissants and baguettes with plenty of jelly, juices, and coffee.

The concierge service is unmatched. They can have you fetched and returned from the airport or train station, make recommendations, gather the info you need, make reservations, and get a taxi for you and you never have to carry your own bags.

They can get a taxi for you or you can walk, take a bus (the stop is close by) or walk a very short distance to the Metro station. They are centrally located.

I highly recommend this hotel if you want a lovely hotel with fine service, great concierge, gorgeous rooms that are elegantly decorated, a delicious breakfast, and all of the luxuries. It is also air conditioned which many Paris hotels are not so you won't swelter. Stay here and feel like you are staying with rich family and friends in Paris.

We have just had 5 nights at Jays with our three children (10,10 and 8 years of age). We all absolutely loved our time at Jays. The hospitality and service was the best we have experienced at a hotel and made for a most enjoyable and successful trip to Paris. The team were all fantastic - helping with everything we wanted to do - fabulous restaurant recommendations and activities for the kids. We are already planning a return to Jays. We don't think we could stay anywhere else in Paris. We would recommend it to all !!

We stayed at Jays over the 2012/2013 New Year. This was our second stay and they truly do an amazing job! The staff go out of their way to help make your stay at the hotel and in Paris easy and memorable. The location is great and very quiet. From the breakfast to the afternoon champagne you will not be disappointed!!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great. Even the smaller empire room is fun! That is the only room that faces the s...

My wife and I spent a fantastic 5 days at Jay’s in Paris!! This is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have stayed at in my 60+ years. The hotel has just five rooms so you are truly pampered by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Jay’s located on a quiet side street about 4 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees – just far enough from the tourists but convenient if you want to visit there.

The first floor consists of a spacious area where you can sit, rest and have a glass of champagne or drink of your choice. A stunning stairway takes you to the rooms on the second and third floor. The rooms themselves are huge (unlike many French hotels), elegantly appointed, equipped with king size beds and a fully equipped bath and shower. The bath has amenities from Hermes to give you a sense of the quality you will find at Jay’s. Every square inch of the hotel is absolutely spotless. A lovely breakfast area is in the basement level where the staff will wheel out a serving cart of baguettes, croissants, jellies, coffee and juices. Flat screen cable TV’s are in every room and the free WIFI is strong and fast. A big Apple computer is on the main floor for guest use if you didn’t bring your own iPad or computer.

The hotel staff, led by the owner Judy, is simply extraordinary. Because there are only five rooms, you receive highly personalized attention at all times. Their English is impeccable but if you want to practice your French (as we did), they are incredibly patient and very willing teachers. And if you need help with a reservation, taxi or recommendations for shopping, I have never experienced such a fantastic level of assistance!

Jay’s will arrange for their chauffer to pick you up at the airport and bring your bags right to your room. And if you need a taxi to go somewhere, they will arrange it “Toute de Suite”. Jay’s is a few steps from a major bus stop and about 20 meters from a Velib bike station. You can walk a long block in either direction and find a Metro station. So like most places in Paris, superb transportation is always available nearby.

I guarantee that you have a spectacular visit at Jay’s! I can’t wait for our next visit!!

Stayed at Jays with my husband and nine year old for my 40th birthday. Our room on the top floor was so enormous it was like having a very large studio apartment - absolutely perfect for us and our stay. There was a mini kitchen too so for younger families heating milk etc would not have been a problem. We felt like we really got to know the members of staff who were all really friendly but not obtrusive.
Wonderful comfy beds - I do struggle to sleep away from home but slept like a log at Jays.
Lots of cafes nearly if you want something other than a continental breakfast, same with groceries for night time champagne - the hotel could do a roaring trade if they stocked a few bits! Very nice touches like all the Hermes and clarins freebies.
We had a really lovely send off - they waved us off with some very kind words and two lovely birthday presents - followed up with a charming email at home. It was almost like staying with friends :)

If you are driving then be prepared with local car park locations as depending when you arrive the nearly road parking is of course busy. Duh. Why didn't we think of that?

Room Tip: Our room did not have a view but was enormous and nice and quiet
