Me and my wife spent 4 days in this hotel in the end of Dec 12.
Rooms: rooms are tiny, you don't even have the place to eat your dinner (if you order room service), but very modern and stylish. You have nespresso machine and iPod dock in each room. Good loccitane cosmetics, with shaving kits in suites. The first disappointment is that there's no free drinking water in the room which is nonsense. You have to buy a bottle (7 eur) to make yourself some coffee. Though you can order tea for free (strange!). The second - cleanness of the room. It's really not cleaned properly especially bath and toilet. Really awful! And we were to ask twice before our room was cleaned. (They don't even notice "please clean my room" signs on your door). 5 for design, 2 for everything else
Breakfast: it's what I loved about this hotel. You don't have much choise but everything is of the top quality. 5 out of 5, not joking.
Service: it's really, really awful. You have to ask several times for nearly everything you need. Once we ordered some tea. They brought us boiled water in the dirty pot from the coffee, which smelled badly. The room service menu is very small and everything is far from tasty, though they usually don't have half of the items. More to say - they will inform you that the item you ordered is out of stock only when you call them an hour later.
Management: the thing to regret about is that this potentially lovely hotel is managed so badly. The last thing I was shocked with was their letter I received a day after leaving the hotel. Last night I felt really sick and the bathroom needed to be cleaned after we left. We tried to call reception several times during the night - no answer. So we left for our plane early in the morning having no chance to find anyone to help us. And now I receive the letter saying that I'm gonna be charged for 100 eur for the "damage" to hotel. That's crazy!
No way I'm gonna return to this property nor I will ever advice anyone to go there.
Trust me - the style of the rooms doesn't worth half of what you will have to face in this place.
Choose 1er Francois - it's lovely in every way.

I am very disappointed to read your comment just after your stay with us.
Many things happened, and my mission as General Hotel Manager is to understand your disappointment and find an issue to your complaints.
Positive point, as you mentionned is you have been charmed by our design, amenities and atmosphere.
Seven is one of the most particular hotel of Paris for its concept!!
Our breakfast too, charmed you thanks its quality, it would be great if you could give us ideas for more choices!!!
On the other hand, Seven is always congratulated for its service and its staff's avaibility.
So, I do need to understand what's happened exactly during your stay!!!!
We do not provide mineral water for our Nespresso Machines because Paris tap water is drinkable and we do not leave water inside to avoid any sanitary and scale troubles.
Nespresso is free and yes you have to insert by your self your coffee pod, what else! :)
You make a mistake, your tea was charged on your invoice. But you are right concerning your comment about out tea pot, it is clear that when you are a tea lover as you , you cannot accept to taste coffee!!!!
Concerning our house keeping service : whaou..... I cannot believe what you write because it is unacceptable for our kind of hotel.
I checked with all my staff working during your stay : it is a regrettable misunderstanding because they believed you did not want to be disturbed because of the do not disturb sign put on your door : so what's going on????sign change on the door. Believe, I do not want to find excuses but why did not you contact reception to ask why no one cleans your room.
My assistant and me are into reception until 09.00 pm everyday and make our maximum to satisfy our guest for any request and it is not a probleme for us if one of our guest call us to clean his room if necessary!
Finally, you are very upset because my assistant contacted you by email concerning your room state after your departure. Our manager mission is to be the best for our guest but it is also protect our staff and make their working day pleasant.
Please, imagine, just one second what you can feel when you cross door and discover damages!!
You could just inform reception on departure about the situation.
So, you are right, we usually charge for rooms damages.
I do accept my mistake and I always make my maximum for my guests, I am passionned of my job, but when you write this bad things about our managment, I cannot accept it for these reasons.
I understand you will never come back, and its a pity, no one is perfect but we can always make maximum to be the best.
