We picked this hotel from a web site that incorrectly said that they were 1 minute from the international airport. They are more like 35 minutes from the airport. Finally arrived at the hotel and went up to the room and discovered that the bed sheets and the comforter had brown and red stains which looked like blood stains. We went back and informed the front desk, the lady there asked the cleaning person to change the sheets which was not taken very well by this person. As the gentleman changed the sheets we noticed that the new sheet being put on also had big spots with brown stains on it. Wehn we pointed it out to the gentleman he blew up, threw the bedding on the floor and strormed out of the room and said in French that he didn't have any other sheets and if we did not like this then to grab our stuff and get out of there. I took this sheet with the stain down to the front desk to show the lady at the front desk. The gentleman who had fixed the beds and left so irately had already spoken to this lady at the front desk and she basically looked at the stain and had the nerve to say that the stain was not so bad and that if we did not like these sheets then we should get out. She was really quite adamant and it became a very scary situation as there were a lot of questionable people loitering in the lobby.
They just insisted that we get out of their hotel and would not allow us to call a cab or anything else. We were just able to grab our bags and get out of there in the nick of time. then we had to walk down the road towards the train station looking for a cab which I would not recommend as this is not the best of neighbourhoods. Lots of gangs of hoodlums hanging about everywhere and lots of graffiti. Definately not a family oriented hotel or neighbourhood. Lots of other choices in Paris, don't be foolish and book this hotel even out of desperation, because either way you will be disappointed.
