“What a disappointment!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

We stayed for two nights at this well-rated hotel. To begin with the good news: the hotel is well located, close to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysées. There are many restaurants nearby. We booked a room for three persons (2 adults and 1 child). In fact the room was a standard room, with one extra bed, blocking normal passage in the room. On several occassions we asked assistance from the staff (airconditioning, empty bathroom gel, ...) to get disappointed every time. The staff wasn't responsive at all to feedback. The room was small and had no power outlets, except for the TV or refrigerator. Facilities in the hotel are non-existent.
Given the price that we paid, one can expect better than this. We will certainly stay elsewhere in the future.

We decided to make a last minute booking for Christmas in Paris.
This hotel had resonable prices. The location is very good and the room was very quiet despite the fact that it had a face on a main road. The stuff was very friendly.Overall a very nice option for a hotel near the center with reasonable prices.

The hotel is located very well and the staff if friendly. But the room corresponds to the level of 2 stars hotel in Paris, but not to 3 stars. The only place to hang coat is to hang it into wardrobe - after rain it is not acceptable. Carmbermades clean up rooms not very good.

I had to make a quick decision on a hotel in Paris when I went there for a funeral. I usually stay at a friends apartment in Paris so did not know a reasonably priced hotel. Doisy worked out okay though the standard double would be small for 2 but my room (301) was very quiet even when I opened the window. If you want more room book the Comfort level but ask for a quiet room as many of this level room face the street. The TV was a bit small but I really only used it for news on. CNN. Breakfast consists of as many croissants and baguette slices as you want plus yoghurt, sliced meats and cheese, juice and coffee. It costs 14 euros though so if you want to economize a bit just turn right outside of the hotel and go to the cafe/brasserie at the end of the block. A small coffee and croissant will cost around 4-5 euro. Also for dinner the Brasserie Le Petit Marguery is left out the door a bit and then across the street. 30 euro menu of appetizer and main course or main and dessert plus a glass of wine and carafe of water and you will have a really great meal for around 40 euro - not bad for Paris and the quality is certainly there.

The hotel is small. Tiny rooms, small elevator that does not stop at all floors, and a small dining room. Almost no sitting place. Breakfast is boring and not rich enough. Bed sheets were stained toilet seat broken and towels are small. No shampoo. Metro station is not very close. Stuff were very friendly. All in all, there are better options for this price.

Located within walking distance of the Arc De Triumph, and walking distance from "Ternes" metro station, so you can get there from the airport via metro.

Rooms are your typically small Europen hotel rooms, but they have been nicely fitted out.
The bathroom was new, fresh & modern. The photos on their web page are a true indication of what is there.

We didn't use the 16 Euro breakfast option, which was your normal bread/juice/spread/coffee affair, because the hotel is next to the most fabulous bakery, which offered all manner of fine & cheap breakfast food. Failing that there are many different cafes immediately around the Doisy.

The free WiFi and computer/printer setup was all very useful in getting those online seat reservations & boarding passes done.

The staff, all spoke English & were very accomodating, helpfull & friendly.
We initially had a small room at the back, but when we requested a better room (because we wanted a street view) they gladly obliged, when a room was available.

The rooms at the back are quite without the view to the main road that is the "Avenue De Turnes". The front rooms face "Avenue De Turnes", so there is all the sights & sounds involved, but it is way noisier. Luckily there is double glazed windows & air conditioning, so you can lock out the noise & keep cool at the same time

I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone who intends to stay in Paris

Room Tip: The big rooms are at the front of the building, facing the busy street. The noise however can be shut...

It has very good and helpful service.
The rooms are nice but one of ours smelt a bit to dampness .
