“Great location, great staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed on the 6th floor and although rooms are on the smaller size they were sufficient enough as were out all day. Eiffel tower is around the corner as are lots of restaurants most open for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and even held our luggage for us as our flight wasnt due out until late evening. Had breakfast one morning and although it was a lovely selection we felt the local cafes were better value for money. We would definately stay here again

We were looking for a hotel close to Eiffel...something basic but clean and with polite staff...the hotel fitted the bill perfectly....The rooms are small (we were prepared for this as most central hotels have small rooms)...perfect if you are going to spend the whole day out and will only be in the room for sleep and shower....however if you are looking for some place big and fancy, then this is not for you....the hotel is right across bir hakeem metro station so you practically exit the hotel and enter the trains....there is a mini bar in the room and also meal service/bar in the hotel however we did not eat at the hotel so cant say anything on that....there are plenty of souvenirs shops, crepes and pizza joints, restaurants with european outdoor seatings right next to the hotel...franprix and monoprix department stores are just a few steps away....we could take our own wine & munch and go to Eiffel every night to view the light & sparkles (eiffel tower was less than 5 mins walk)...in all fabulous location, friendly staff, clean and no fuss hotel...

I stayed at the Eiffel Seine for a week with my grandmother while we were visiting Paris, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a wonderful Paris experience!

The location is perfect, with the Bir Hakeim metro right across the street (we used it every day) and the Eiffel Tower around the corner. I would stay here again just to have the metro so close, as it was a life saver when we needed to get somewhere fast, or just didn't feel like walking anymore after a long day. ;) If you can get the hang of the Parisian metro, you can be anywhere in the city within minutes. The Eiffel Tower was also only a few minutes away (a 10 minute walk), and if you get lost while wandering Paris, just look for the Eiffel and you'll find your hotel!

We also enjoyed strolling down Boulevard de Grenelle, as there are some very good brasseries and bakeries just a few minutes' walk down the road. One bakery we particularly enjoyed is Poilane...definitely check it out! We went to the L'atome brasserie and cafe a few times as well; not a huge menu, but a good local experience. I would also recommend going to the FranPrix (like a tiny French supermarket) just down bd de Grenelle, as it has a ton of local food brands if you're looking for some French souvenirs! We bought breakfast there a few times, and they actually have a very good pain au chocolat in the bakery section.

Now about the room. We arrived early (around 12pm) and our room wasn't quite ready yet, so we waited in the nicely decorated lobby while the hotel prepared our room. In the meantime, we got to talk to the wonderful concierge (unfortunately we didn't catch any names) and she set us up with Wi-Fi while we waited. There is an honesty bar in the lobby that serves coffee, tea, juice, water, soft drinks, and alcohol, plus coffee/tea is free during the afternoon (2-4 or so I think, but do check on that yourself!) which was a nice bonus.

When our room was ready, the concierge let us know promptly, and we were given our key and sent up to the room. We had 404 on the fourth floor facing the road, with a view of the metro and the Seine. I suppose it was a bit noisy, but we were never bothered by it, even with the windows open. *Note: we did need to keep the windows open during the afternoon, as it was actually quite warm the week we went and there was rarely air conditioning in the hotel, which was one of the only problems we found. I believe they had the AC off because it was Spring, and apparently they really only turn it on in the Summer.* The room size was just fine for the two of us, and we never had any trouble maneuvering around the bed, which was 2 twin beds pushed together. The bed was actually very comfortable, if a bit warm considering the weather while we were visiting. There was a closet with lots of shelf storage, and we had plenty of space to hang all of our tops and dresses for a 7 day stay. The only issue we found with the closet was the hangers they supplied, which (in our room) were very poorly attached to their heads, and were constantly falling apart. Thankfully I took some of my own from home, so we mostly used those. The safe in the closet worked just fine for our needs. There was a mini fridge stocked with juices, Coke, Coke Zero, beer, 2 waters and a Toblerone. The coffee bar had caffeinated and decaf instant coffee, tea, sugar, and cream (milk). Our coffee maker didn't work, but the staff gave us a replacement.

The bathroom was actually a bit larger than we expected, and it had an invaluable shelf where we could put our things. The bathtub was also large (very high walled) and the shower worked great. We never had trouble with water pressure, temp, etc. The maids were wonderful, and were known to replace things like towels and soap quite often without our asking, which was very nice. They were also very diligent about making the beds and restocking the mini fridge and coffee bar daily.

The concierges were wonderful, always willing to speak English (and they were very good at it) or help us along with our French (and we were pretty bad at it). They even let me use the computer to print out our tickets for Versailles, which was so kind of them. In addition, they booked a taxi for us on the day we left (so helpful!).

All in all, I would absolutely stay here again, and strongly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

Room Tip: The fourth floor facing the road (room 404) was a bit noisy, but we were never bothered by it. The v...

This hotel is excellent. We stayed here for two nights, then did a two day tour and came back for another two nights. They were happy to look after some extra luggage for us while we were away. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We had a superior room and it was great. Very modern and comfortable. Wireless access was good. We had no problems. Breakfast was very nice. The location is good for access to tourist locations. We would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights. We were on the sixth floor and it was very quiet. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a great selection. Very close to the Eiffel Tower and across the street from the Metro, easy to get to from Gare du Nord. Great restaurants next door, an excellent bakery and pharmacy about a block away. I will defintely stay here again on my next trip to Paris.

The Eiffel Tower is around the corner. The Metro across the street and the Seinne across the road it s ideally located to get around Paris. The area itself has the usual paddlers/gypsies etc but it's not too bad. The hotel is clean and modern but more suited to business travellers and people who are there for the city and not the hotel.

First, the location is great if you want to be by the Eiffel Tower and the subway.

Second, the staff was very friendly and helpful in giving you tips about where to go and how to get around.

Third, the hotel itself is very quaint with a nice, but small, lobby. The front desk is actually just a desk.

But, unless you are going solo or as a couple who are not claustrophobic, the rooms are tiny. We had three in our room and we were literally climbing over the bed and chair.

Really wanted to say something nicer, but the size makes it tough.
