the important issue for me is:cleanless but it was poor. there was some dirty traces and hairs on linens and they were not seem to be clean enough. it was far away from city center. yes.. there is huge underground system but it takes time to change the lines and the location was not safe at night. also we have waited at least 20 min for check in, the stuff was very slow

My partner and I stayed at the hotel in Dec 14. We spent 4 nights there and it was enough. When I booked I realised that it was quite far from the centre so had no complaints really. It is reasonably close to the metro station that is located through a minefield of homeless people, druggies and lots of boozed up people. We even had the pleasure of watching a prostitute earn her trade.
I am not sure why they ever decided to build a novotel and an Ibis here. The entrance of the hotel had a broken into car outside which sat there for the entire duration of our stay.

The reception were very average, not very friendly. The rooms were basic and a bit smelly. The bathroom is a cubicle not a bathroom. The only reason it did not receive one star was because the price was affordable. Apart from that just stay clear of the place for a few euros more a night its worth relocating.

I stayed here last year! Yes, last year but I was booking somewhere else on booking .com and this popped up and I forgot to leave a review. I stayed here with a friend of mine and yes you are getting a very cheap place to stay (I wouldn't even call it a hotel) but you get exactly what you paid for! Horrible tiny rooms, tiny toilet, smelly, window that does not open.

This is not my major issue - the location is very very dangerous. To get to the hotel you must walk under a bridge and there are homeless people, drunks, and druggies everywhere you stand out like a sore thumb and it is incredibly intimidating! We got harassed daily by people here and I even got kicked hard by a drunk for not giving him money.

Please please stay the hell away from this abomination! Pay that little bit extra and stay in a nicer area of the city.

Paris is one of the most beautiful cities but like any city there are rough and dangerous places and this is definitely one of them. If you are a group of girls or a lone girl do not even think about this place!

I have never forgotten this place and me and my friend alway joke about the crazy dangerous area we stayed in in paris.

What a bad experience !!! but you're still alive. it's a joke !!! i understand you an be sure that every day, every week we denounce this situation around the hotel. maybe it seems dangerous but it's not, because guests continue to come.

best regards

I travelled all the way from Dubai to Paris especially for the New years and stayed at the Hotel from 29 to 31 Dec 2014 .. Since it was a last minute reservation .. I had to choose this hotel in my budget which is a bit far from city centre and the main attractions of the city..

Out of 10 ppl at reception and cafeteria , 2 could speak , understand and respond in English... rest only spoke French... The two who could speak were very rude, impolite .. I asked her a train to Chateau de Versaille , Eiffel Tower & Champs Elysees .. the main attractions of Paris ,, and the stations she told me to take trains/change trains from were horribly wrong... SO PLS DONT ASK HER FOR ANY INFORMATION...OR U WILL GET LOST!!!

There are hardly any Vegan options in Cafeteria and when u ask ppl working there... they r too busy or cant understand English and respond rudely in French!!

Moreover... they have a paid business corner which is kind of weird and complicated to use and when i ask reception ladies above for assistance .. she replies am too busy.. pls manage on ur own...

The location of the hotel is too dark ,and remote n bit scary...atleast for solo women

The only good thing n helpful person I found in Paris & near hotel and outside metro station is Pharmacie owner Mrs Fatima... She was super awesome , friendly and helpful and planned my entire trip in Paris and to Amsterdam .. just out of Courtesy!!!

Pls dont ask any suggestion for travel within city to Reception (especially the ladies African lady - eme & some Other may be Arab lady ) at the Reception.. u will get lost...

It was very clean, the room was small but not too small, the personal was friendly and the breakfast was good. The area around it was AWFUL... seems totally unsafe and dirty, although close to the metro (which was ugly too). For one night it was ok.

Felt like a hostel with private rooms.
No safe in hotel roo. . Clean rooms and comfy. Decently priced. Breakfast was continental which was fine. Far from main attractions but close to the subway. Area feels a bit dodgy though.
