“Great little hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

My partner and I stayed here on a long weekend to see the sights of Paris.
I was really impressed with the overall experience!
The hotel is close to the metro and RER with plenty of great places to eat!
The staff were lovely and very helpful!
Would recommend highly!

it is a lovely, clean, nicely decorated little hotel. I liked everything about it. I ve been to Paris 8 times and I have enough experience to compare.
the hotel is 2 stars, situated in 5 minutes walk from the metro station. yes the rooms are small, but it typical for Paris and for this class of hotels. it is very clean, good design of the room - tasteful with a bespoke furniture and absolutely fantastic strong hot shower!
the breakfast is lovely - in comparison to other hotels where I stayed (Timhotel for instance) - the gave for the same price just a cup of coffee with some unhealthy white bread ? in the hotel du Printemps - you get the whole continental -plus some lovely French pastries.
the district is nice, quiet, clean and has a lot of lovely shops around - there is a bakery and a cheese shop on the corner.
the stuff is friendly, speak English and very helpful. For this range of stars and money - we with my nice got a superb deal.
the only thing I was missing - was tea and coffee facilities - there were none. but next time I ll just take my travel kettle then *)))

Room Tip: take a travel kettle with you - if you love your evening cup of tea.

Thank you so much for your review. A 5 five star review coming from an expert in Paris visits is really appreciated. I am also very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your breakfast and the design of the hotel. I am sorry to learn that you missed your evening tea; I would like to remind that our bar offers a wide selection of tea, coffee and … some hot water -:). We have considered having tea or coffee facilities but our fire detectors in each room do not like heat or steam.
We look forward to seeing you again next time you are in Paris.
Kind regards

On a business trip, landed here because Mercure across the street had oversold their rooms. This is an old school hotel... green carpets, ceramic tiles, antique furniture... once you switch your mind away from the modern, glass and steel hotels that we are so used to, this hotel will remind you that you are in Paris.

I would recommend for those on vacation. Ask for Room 26- it is BIG and you can watch the world pass by from the windows.

A great budget hotel just on the edge of the city centre. Ideal for weekend breaks. Stylish rooms, modern decor and wooden floors. Continental breakfast is €9 extra but worth it if you don't want to waste time looking for somewhere to eat first thing.
All rooms have double glazing, ensuite facilities, TV and are extremely clean, they provide complimentary shower gel and shampoo too. The Hotel has a lift, luggage room, FREE WIFI and 24 hour reception.
Most of the attractions you want to visit are along the number 6 metro line (light green) which is 3 minutes from the hotel, Stop Picpus and the Eiffel Tower is about 30 mins away. The Eiffel Tower is a good place to start sightseeing. You can go up to the very top for €14.50 or half way up for €8.50. There is a queue and security checks but the lines move quickly. You can also get boat trips from here. They last an hour and are between €13 - €18. The €18 trip includes a glass of champagne. Work your way back to the hotel along the Seine stopping of at the Sacré Coeur de Montmartre, Musée d'Orsay and Notre Dame.
A book of 10 tickets for €15 means you can make 10 journeys on the Metro or Bus.
Eating around the Hotel is cheaper, there are several good restaurants nearby.
The Hotel is nearer to the Picpus stop on Line 6 but Nation (Line 2 blue) is a 5 minute walk over the roundabout.

Room Tip: Some rooms are near the lift, which may affect some people.

Thank you so much to spend the time to write a review for us and for your 5 stars. Our objective is above all that our hosts have a very good stay for a good value for money. As you explained, it is very easy to visit Paris from the hotel. The metro station Picpus is just in front of the hotel and Nation is a hub with 4 subway lines, the RER A and buses. It gives a direct access to all the Parisian major sites and to Disneyland Paris. For a first stay I shall also recommend the metro line n°1 (yellow) which is very fast and allows visiting numerous monuments.
Hoping to welcoming you again in Paris
Very cordially

It was mine and boyfriends 21st birthdays, so decided to take a romantic trip to Paris just after them both. We found this hotel after spending hours looking at many places and reading reviews.
I finally decided on this one, not only as it had good reviews but also because I loved the furniture and the fact that it didn't look like any other modern hotel. It made you feel like you were in Paris.

LOCATION:
It's location is perfect. Literally 30 seconds to the closest metro station (Picpus on line 6) which is only one stop away from Nation station which has many connections towards to the main sightseeing attractions.

ROOMS:
The rooms are small, however they are immaculate and very comfortable. The bed was comfy and the shower was lovely and powerful. They provided organic soaps, body washes and hair shampoos which I found very useful and they'd be refilled daily. There was also a powerful hair dryer in the bathroom.
Also found the free wifi useful to email home with photos and our daily activities.

BREAKFAST:
We did not try the breakfast in the hotel as on the first day we found a lovely bakery on the corner of the road which sold baguettes and pan au chocolates which we ate on the go.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's thinking of a trip to Paris and will be staying again if I ever return. Thank you Hotel du Printemps for a lovely stay!

What a wonderful review, thank you so much! I’m really pleased to hear you enjoyed the design and comfort of the hotel, its location and excellent links. It is not always easy to choose a hotel on the internet and it is good when your choice corresponds to your expectations!
We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Take care

This hotel is a bit away from the center but the metro station is right next. The place is very beautiful and very picturesque. The breakfast room is nice and not expensive. The rooms have a good decoration, but many are small. For just wants to sleep comfortably, great. The hallways and elevator are lowercase and traffic is uncomfortable with many bags.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front street (view) and the lower floors, not needing the lift.

We stayed at the hotel in March for three nights. We found the hotel suited our needs,it was clean and in a quiet part of Paris with good metro links. Our room was on the front which wasn't a problem as it was very quiet at night, only thing was our room was very small ( more like a single than double ) not much room at side of bed. Breakfast was typical, only hot food was boil it yourself eggs which took ages :( One problem at breakfast was there were only four tables, so as long as everyone doesn't go down at same time it was ok.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Looking at prices of other hotels in Paris, we thought it was good for the money.
We also found eating out was cheaper by the hotel. Italian next door was excellent.
