“Great staff, great hotel, great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

The hotel is beautifully designed with a very interesting movie theme (you may think that functionallity is sacrificed to design, eg no closets or drawers) but there is plenty of hanging space and most savvy travellers live out of their suitcase anyway.

The staff is amazing nothing is too much trouble. The location is fine, easy walks to main attractions and 2 metro stops very close. The free breakfast buffet is at least as good as ones for which I've paid 25 euros in Paris.

If you are able, book room 200 on the ground floor. it is large and opens to a completely private patio. Wow!!.

It is so refreshing to be at a hotel that doesn't 'nickel and dime' you. This hotel isn't inexpensive but I rather pay more upfront and have everything accessible to me without little charges along the way. I travel often and the little charges for necessities such as Internet and bottled water really add up. Here you have complimentary [fast] Internet, complimentary beverages in the mini fridge (juices, waters, etc) as well as plentifully stocked treats & beverages in the mini cafe downstairs.
Upon arrival at this hotel you will be greeted by a pristine lobby and some of the friendliest hotel staff in Paris. The theme of this hotel is French Cinema and no detail in decor was overlooked. It was fun, funky and a nice change from the typical "boring" hotel.
Rooms are big for Paris standards and each room has been carefully crafted to maintain some cinematic theme. Bathroom was nice, clean and shower was great. The bed was enormous and comfortably firm. However the lack of pillows did throw me a bit. There are elevators, a nice gym, a cinema (imagine that) and little nooks to tuck away in for a glass of wine.
If you travel in America much, this hotel very much resembles a Kimpton Property (one of my favorite boutique hotel management companies in the US.)
This is a new hotel so I expect a few bugs to be worked out. There were some technical details that could be improved on. When we arrived to check in (after check in time), our room was still not ready due to a computer issue, my name was misspelled on the welcome message on the TV in my room, and our key cards to get into our room stopped working multiple times. None of these things are huge deal, but slightly inconvenient at the time.
You really can't beat the location if you love the Marais district. Everything is within reach by walking or metro. I can't speak any more highly of the staff and the little touches that made this hotel experience a delight. I highly recommend to anyone traveling for business or pleasure.

Very cool hotel! Clean, friendly staff and lots of interesting interior details. Did not try the restaurant and the pool. The film theme was well thought through in every detail.

It was a charming hotel and you exactly feel that during your check in. The staff was amazing. Very friendly welcoming and we didn't wait for our room. We were staying in Deluxe room compared to Paris Hotels room size was fine but should be larger. Very well decorated and was extremely clean. Location was excellent. I Will definetly come back

Everything about this place was first class. From the friendly and attentive service at check-in, to the wonderful upgraded room with a wonderful view on the 6th floor and the friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay, our visit to Paris was very much enhanced by our 6 days stay at this lovely hotel.

The breakfast in the foyer under the rooftop glass made it seem were eating al fresco every day.

The rooms are modern, functional and fun with French cinema themes. Brand new , everything was modern and accessible.Only minor complaint is the style of having no cupboards or drawers, so as to give the place an open air and larger feeling. Great idea, but it makes the place look a bit messy with piles of clothes and objects out and clothes hanging. It forces you to be neat and tidy all the time. A minor quibble. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and super quiet , even facing the front street. 611 has a lovely glass balcony and glass room overlooking Sebastopol which are priceless.

The location on the right bank is very convenient. Sandwiched between 2 metro lines within a 3 minute walking distance, it is easy to get anywhere very quickly.

Highly recommended. And Hugo and Eddy, the general manager and Front house manager respectively, were marvellous.

Would definitely come back!

Room Tip: choose an upper room facing Sebastopol. 611 was great

We were staying at the newly opened 123 Sebastopol for 4 nights with our 10 year old son. The Check in was extremely friendly and the "cineastique" atmosphere could be felt immediately. The rooms are wonderfully decorated, very stylish and have a wonderful ambience. Very clean, in great condition, warm colours. The beds are very good quality, modern bathroom, spacious raindance shower, good amenities, air-condition. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. A huge advantage are the free movie on demand channels, the free of charge open bar with soft drinks and snacks. The breakfast has a fine choice of fresh and very high quality items. The location is great - as two Metro stations are only 2 minutes walk away. All in all, the best hotel experience we ever had in Paris - and we have stayed in many different hotels in that city before. Truly and simply: Absolutely recommendable - it will be our first choice for the next time again.

The stay was very enjoyable and relaxed. Check in was smooth and efficient and we got our room right away. The staff are very hospitable. We liked the decor, the ambiance and the hotel theme. The room was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was was stronger than at home. Aircondition is doing what it should do hence we had a good night sleep. We liked the outdoor balcony and the all day free buffet which is very generous. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very attentive..
Great location close to the train stations and 2 Metro stations. Walking distance to the le Marais, center pompidou and other attractions.
great stay, great service, great staff
reccommended wholeheartedly.
