“A quiet retreat within easy reach of the centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in this excellent hotel in the 11th Arrondissement - near a newly popular area with restaurants and bars centred on the western end of the rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud. The hotel and rooms are fashionably decorated (industrial chic) but retain a high level of comfort. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Terrific hotel.

We stayed in TOPFLOOR room at Hotel Fabric with our 2 teenage grandchildren for 4 nights in July. The room was perfect for our needs with 2 single beds and a large queen size bed on loft level. The hotel , which has only been open for about 1 year, is in an area of Paris undergoing revitalization. It is located on a small street very close to 2 different Metro stops. There are many restaurants in the area
The front desk staff was extremely helpful in answering all questions, the included "petit dejeuner" was very good and the honor bar was very relaxing at the end of of our long days exploring Paris
My wife and I and our 2 teenage grandchildren loved this hotel

We took our niece on her first International trip and she wished to go to Paris. Thanks to the TA reviews, I chose Hotel Fabric and was extremely happy with the choice. The location is a short walk to the Metro and there are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was more than helpful with I'm sure the same questions they get from everyone! The room was wonderful. Orange draperies with a granite colored bathroom with rainshower. The coffee bar was open all the time. My niece loved the hot chocolate with the complementary Madeleines! There is also WiFi available at no charge in the hotel. There is a small grocery store just a few steps away from the hotel, so that was a really nice perk! A special thank you to the hotel when we arrived and the cab driver wanted cash only. They helped us with that and placed the charge on our bill. I would go back again! Thank you, Hotel Fabric!

I'm so very thrilled that Trip Advisor pointed me to this hotel. We wanted to be out of the tourist areas but still have easy access to all the tourist things we were planning on doing. This is the place. A fabulous, safe and vibrant Paris neighbourhood, with real people nearby living their lives. So many restaurants, cafes, and brasseries within very few blocks. Metro stations abound nearby letting us easily get to many points in the city (Catacombs, Notre Dame, Jardin des Plantes, Curie Museum, Les Halles). We appreciated being away from the hoards of tourists.

We were in a lovely room (room 107) facing the courtyard, very comfortable, with huge windows, lots of pillows, self controlled air conditioning and a splendid soaking tub in the bathroom. We were in a triple room, which had plenty of room for the three of us, including two separate rooms for the toilet and shower/bath.

Staff was the friendliest and most helpful of all we met during our time in France. We arrived around 1;00 before our room was ready, but were able to drop off our luggage, walk down the street for a kebab lunch then stroll through Pere Lachaise. We returned around 3:00 and our luggage had been delivered to our room.

The honesty bar is a great touch and very appreciated after our long days in the city. My 11 year old now wants a milk steamer at home for any time access to steamed milk. Small fridge in the room that indicated it was not for food storage, but managed to keep our cidre chilled well. Wireless access was free and we had great signal throughout the room. Many near by bakeries for breakfast, but we did take advantage of the breakfast on our last day before metro'ing out to the airport, this was reasonably priced considering kids were free, but in general, plan on having breakfast out.

Hoping to return in the fall for another visit, and without a doubt this is where I will stay!

Visited in July for a 3 night break. Really lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the club room which was spacious and had all facilities we needed, plus a very comfortable bed and great shower! Our room faced into the street, but there was no noise at night despite having the window open.

Breakfast was a little expensive for what it was (continental) but was of good quality. We decided to buy pain au chocolat and croissants from a lively bakery instead on other days.

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the metro which is easily accessible to the main attractions. 10 minutes from gare du nord.

What a place!

We arrived in Paris as the 1st stop of our month long European holiday and stayed in Fabric for 3 days. The staff at the front desk were amazing, kind , helpful and spoke perfect English. They were extremely helpful in recommending places to eat, things to do and places to visit.

The hotel itself is a gorgeous boutique style hotel with the most amazing decor and furnishings. The rooms are a little on the small side but big enough for us to fit our 2 huge suitcases. The shower and bathroom is huge and the L'occitane products a nice added touch. There are small lights in between ech bathroom wall tile which we thought was unique and gorgeous.

In the lobby there is a communal Ipad available. There is also a table with a coffee machine, water and small snacks available 24/7 for you to either have there or take to your room. My partner and I to this day have not had coffee better than the 'cafe noisette' from that machine!! It was amazing!!! And we are fussy Aussie coffee connoiseurs too I might add.

Location is perfect in the funky, trendy suburb of Bastille. So many restaurants, bars and cafes around. Only 100-200m away from St Ambroise metro station.

We loved it here so much that we booked Hotel Fabric for our 1 night stop over in Paris on our last leg of the trip back to Sydney. On that night we had breakfast, which I must say was so fresh and delicious.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for 1st class service.

Room Tip: Any of the 'double' rooms would be better as there is an extra couch which can be used as a...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel 4th-6th July in a Club room. Friendly welcome and staff fluent in English as well as French which my husband appreciated. Nicely designed foyer/breakfast room with complimentary tea/coffee/snacks all day and honesty bar at night.. Modern clean rooms. Not small for Paris standard. Comfortable bed. L'Occitane amenities and great rainfall shower! (which made up for having no bath). Breakfast was typical of a continental Paris buffet with boiled eggs, cold cuts, fruit, yoghurt and fresh bread/vienoisseries. Not in the heart of tourist Paris but walk to metro and short ride to Montmatre, Opera and Champs Elysees. Staff had good recommendations for restaurants. Wifi was adequate and air conditioning functioning well. Overall good value for Paris. Thank you to the team. We will be back soon!
