“Lovely modern hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Only stayed for one night but the hotel was perfect for our trip. The room was perfectly adequate size wise and decorated in a bright fun way with nice high ceilings and plenty of good lighting. The staff were very welcoming and it makes a change to be able to help yourself to tea and coffee in the lobby at no extra charge. Particularly liked the bathroom which had a great shower and very nice design. Very good value.

We stayed here for one night together with 2 other couples and we all absolutely loved it. It is fresh, clean, contemporary and funky. The Staff are so friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to assist you. The rooms may be on the smallish side, but perfectly formed. The shower is absolutely fabulous, and the beds are firm and you get a good nights sleep.
My only "complaint" is that there is no shelf to put your washbag on in the bathroom and that's a little annoying, but a part from that it was brilliant.
The Continental breakfast is also very very nice, with fresh bread, cheeses, boiled eggs, juices, coffee/tea/hot chocolate and fruit - plenty of choice to fill you up.
The location of the hotel is also really good with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and there are 4 Metros close by also.
A brilliant little gem in Paris and one we will all definitely stay at again.

Absolutely no complaints. Nice little hotel in a great little neighborhood. You don't need to venture far for good food and nice local bars. Very friendly and helpful staff. Public transportation is close.

We stayed in the Hotel Fabric for 5 nights. The hotel is new, and well-appointed with modern decor in the lobby & rooms. The rooms are slightly on the small side, but create an spacious ambiance with high ceilings & modern decor and lighting. I was a little concerned with possible street noise, but there was none on the 2nd floor. Staff are friendly & knowledgeable, and there is an adequate breakfast (pastries, fruit, coffee etc.), and an honor-bar in the evening.

The location in Oberkampf is great! It is quiet, and there are a lot of nice bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Despite being a little out of the main tourist areas, the hotel is walking distance from 4 metro lines, making for quick and easy connections.

I will stay here again next time I visit Paris.

Room Tip: No street noise from street-facing rooms

Small hotel in the outskirts of Paris which will require travel to attractions. It is not in your typical Paris area but in a Fabric warehouse spot. Dont let this put you off the area is fine with local shops as chemist, small supermarket next door and many cafes. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and an amazing comftable bed. The bathroom is very cool with rain and hand shower, it is on the small side but did not bother us. We paid extra for breakfast was I think 14 euros each bit pricy but very good serviced by a lovely lady each morning. It included juice, tea, coffee machine, cerals, yogurt, boiled egs, sliced meats, cheese, bread and crossiants all laid out buffet style with great tableware. There is a small gym and I think sauna, we didnt use. Close to metro 2 different stops. We got a good price as it is new but I think this price may go up and then it may be better to stay closer but it really is a lovely place and I would stay again.

Room Tip: We had a 3rd floor room next to lift little bit noisy great views so pick one further from the lifts...

This recently opened boutique hotel in the 11th district offers good value. The location is convenient to transportation although not in the heart of the tourist area. The staff was helpful and friendly. When we arrived early in the morning a room was ready and they offered us breakfast. The decor is eclectic. The rooms were very comfortable with nice bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. A small gym and steam room are available although we did not use them. Free coffee and tea were offered in the lobby throughout the day. A very good Paris choice.

The Hotel FABRIC is located between République and Bastille in the heart of Paris. This former workshop was transformed into a chic and stylish hotel. The 33 guestrooms are as stylish as they are comfortable. Their decor plays on the dualities which have always enlivened the neighbourhood: graphic shapes and industrial furniture from the factories sit alongside highly colourful, quality fabrics evoking the workers’ allotment gardens of the Ménilmontant quarter. ... more   less
