My husband and I found this tiny, Italian restaurant from reviews on tripadvisor - and are so happy we did! Our entire experience was perfect.
Our reservation was made for 9pm (on a Thursday) and when we arrived our table was ready and every other seat was full. You absolutely must make a reservation or risk missing out because I am not over exaggerating... the place is tiny tiny. I only remember seeing 7or 8 tables in total (some seating 4, but most for pairs). During our visit, 3 other tables were flipped for other late-night diners and we noticed one couple (without a reservation) get turned away because they were full.
The atmosphere felt lively, yet intimate and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. Although it is probably customary for them, we felt extra special when we were each given a glass of Prosecco (Italian champagne) as a welcome while we looked over the menu.
We started with a delicious antipasto plate that was almost too big for two. It included grilled zucchini, eggplant, and yellow pepper, a pile of cured meat, bruschetta, with a huge ball of homemade Mozzarella cheese in the middle.
We spoke with the sommelier about our wine preference and each went for a glass of his recommendation. For our dinner I selected the truffle ravioli, and my husband went for a penne in a bacon and mushroom-infused sauce. Both dishes were outstanding. Besides the taste, we appreciated the beautiful presentation and ample portions. Sadly, we did not save any room for dessert. (Our entire bill came to 78 Euros and was well worth it)
My stomach is growling as I write this review, begging to go back. We will!
