Description: You might not normally choose to dine in a car show room but when it is Renault's flagship show room on the Champs Elyses in Paris you might make an exception! The restaurant Atelier Renault in the Renault show room has a great contemporary dcor and a great menu of French classics that changes according to the season. While you're there you can check out the regular exhibitions of technology, sport and art. There is also a terrace where you can watch the world go by when the weather is fine.

“Nice bistro - nothing to write home about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

The best part of the place is the address : on the bottom of the Champs Elysees, on the(less fashionable) right side going down. The so-called restaurant is upstairs, they seat you on aluminium chairs, the overall feeling is like an overcharged fast-food more than a restaurant. Ok, if you're a guy, you might appreciate looking at Renault cars one floor down. And that's the only view you really have : 75% of the tiny tables are far too much inside for anyone to get a view of the Champs Elysees. Service is nice, food basic but good, but the atmosphere is rush-rush and you get a feeling they want you to finish quickly and move on. A lot of nicer places near there !

“A fun place, lots to watch plus good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

What's a motoring addict meant to do in Paris to get a little fix of motoring between visits to the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay?
I came up with what I thought was a novel idea, mix French food and motoring with a visit to L'Atelier Renault Café on the Champs-Elysées. Now, I wouldn't normally suggest that you should lunch on the famous boulevard, it has a reputation for high cost and average quality, but the Renault establishment is well worth a visit and, despite the salubrious surroundings, the prices are reasonable - a decent chicken salad lunch for 17 euros, with wine by the glass from 6.50 euros. The service is friendly and reasonably efficient.
Louis Renault purchased the original building on the Champs-Elysées in 1910. It was ‘Pub Renault' until 1999 then it was replaced by today's sparkling building and opened as L'Atelier Renault Café in November 2000.
There is always something interesting in the foyer, this time it was a 300KW mid-engine Alpine 110-50 sports concept car, set off by a spectacular light display. Beyond the foyer is the showroom area that is used for exhibitions. "Twizy: Plug into the Positive Energy" is the name of the current display, featuring electric cars and a robot. There is also all manner of memorabilia and team apparel for sale. The cafe is upstairs. Ask to be seated in the mezzanine section that is suspended by cables. You can enjoy lunch while watching the Ferraris and Lamborghinis on the boulevard; the passing crowd sweeping in and out of the entrance to take photos of the display; and the new Renaults and toys in the showroom. Some of the other eating areas have models of Renaults set into the wall in perspex cases. A great place for motoring enthusiasts.

“Overpriced, walk on a find better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Just stopped for a quick coffee and a cake. Service was very slow and prices very expensive. You'd be better walking down a little. There are plenty other options and you'll easily find better.

“Disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

We just went to this place to have a drink.. Of course, prices are high, as is the case everywhere on Champs Elysees. This was to be expected. However, the long waiting time and the unfriendly service disappointed us. Staff is unmotivated, unprofessional and is not interested in providing good service.

Would not go back to this place and can not recommend to anybody else a visit here!
