If you like the sound of a short break in the French capital, surrounded by Parisian opulence, look no further than the ultra-fashionable Hôtel Atmosphères in the hub of Paris’ most exciting neighbourhood. Located on Rue des Écoles, only minutes from the shopping mecca of Boulevard Saint-Germain, and must-see attractions that include Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon, Centre Pompidou and Jardins du Luxembourg, this French hotspot certainly has it all.
From it’s distinctive exterior to its unique interior décor (that even incorporates a bar made from a jet engine!), award-winning French architect Vincent Bastie has managed to assemble a hotel that reflects many of Paris’ most fascinating elements. With 56 rooms in total (including six junior suites and two apartments), it gives a huge nod to the art of Parisian living, so you’ll be inspired to discover it for yourself!
The original architectural design is complemented perfectly by the ever-present artwork on display throughout the building. Marketed as being ‘the first art-gallery hotel in Paris’, Hôtel Atmosphères hosts a variety of exclusive images by famed photographer Thierry des Ouches, all of which can be purchased in either the large-scale prints or postcard size (should the budget not permit!).
A full buffet is laid out each morning in the breakfast room, situated in the cellar. With many of the scrumptious offerings local to the region, sample the selection of fresh pastries, assorted breads, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses and cold meats. Plus, be sure to whet your whistle with a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate before stepping out to pound the Paris streets. Sore feet? Spoil yourself with a refreshing sauna or invigorating massage in the hotel wellness centre. And, as if a day’s walking isn’t enough exercise, there’s also a fully-equipped gym with running machine, exercise bike and sculpting free weights.
Heading out for the evening? Kick off your night with pre-dinner drinks in the lounge before finding a restaurant that fits the bill. With an array of eateries
on the doorstep, offering an eclectic mix of global cuisines, the friendly,
English-speaking reception staff will lead you in the right direction.
So, whether it’s business or pleasure that brings you to Paris, get a real feel for the capital at iconic Hôtel Atmosphères.
