“Stylish hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

This small beautifully decorated hotel is located near so much that the Right Bank has to offer--the Louvre, Place Vendome, Rue du Rivoli, Place du Concord, and all the shopping and culture. The rooms are small but smartly decorated with large graphic wallpaper representing different continents. The staff is pleasant and helpful. A couple of doors down is a small restaurant that boasts the best hamburger in Paris strangely enough and a favorite haunt of Jay-Z. Easily walkable from the bus from the airport that stops at the Opera. Great value when I stayed there.

Great hotel, newly renovated - very modern & tastefully done.
Rooms very pretty & clean. Very nice boutique hotel with wonderful staff like Andrea & Lekita- always smiling n ever so helpful. Bathrooms very clean n loved the wooden basin.
Location amazing close to Concorde Metro-5 mts walk. 7-10 mts to Vendome & Louvre - can't get better than that. Stayed in a double room from 1-4 August and just loved the comfortable beds.
Rooms are generally small like most Paris hotels - but highly recommended. Lovely wallpaper
Breakfast was Continental -very fresh, a lot & enjoyable - greeted in the mornings by smiling Lekita!
3 requests : 1) Umbrella 2) Complimentary Mineral water daily 3) Mirror under Tv
These were 3 requests as hotel had just reopened after renovation.
I gv this hotel 5stars - fabulous hotel in the heart of city, close to major attractions. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. Loved looking out of the window in front of hotel - quiet and safe area.
Very lovely cafe & restaurants closely. Staying is believing!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the front of hotel. Rooms with Double Beds.

This cool boutique hotel's very central location is perhaps its greatest selling point. You are just a few minutes from the nearest Metro station, but perhaps more importantly, also close enough to walk to many of the city's attractions and must-go areas.

The staff were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. They always welcomed us back with a warm smile and asked if everything was okay.

The double room was small. To give you an idea, I had to lift my suitcase over the bed to place it on the floor on the other side as there wasn't enough space to get it past the bottom of the bed. I was expecting a small room, however, and was not put out by this.

On the plus side, the room was clean and uniquely decorated (I'm sure you've seen the pictures!) with a reasonably-sized bathroom. The wall-mounted TV had some English channels, including BBC World and CNN. The bed was extremely comfortable. The small fridge could be emptied and was big enough to stock items purchased from outside (although there wasn't a supermarket in the immediate vicinity). The free Wi-Fi worked very well throughout our 4-night stay. I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room (these were available in the lobby, but not complimentary). The room was also quiet - free from both outside and internal noise.

When I requested an iron/ironing board, none were available, but the staff called another guest and they were quickly delivered to my room. The next day I received a call asking if I was finished with these. Bear this in mind if you do a lot of ironing!

As others have said, this is a great hotel if you just need a central place to sleep and dump your luggage while enjoying the sights. And let's face it, who visits Paris to relax in a hotel?

(Also, we arrived in Paris at CDG. If you take the Roissybus to "Opera", it's about a 10 min walk to the hotel. This was doable even with 2 large suitcases and several pieces of hand luggage).

I stayed in what was probably the smallest room the hotel offers, but I only needed a place to sleep and leave my things. If that suits your needs, then this is ideal. They offer larger rooms, of course. The price was quite good and you really can't beat the location, so I'd have to recommend it.
The bathroom was rather cramped though and overall, if you like to spread out I'd suggest opting for a larger room. Also, while there is a mini bar, its not quite a fridge so if you plan to stay a while you'll have to pull out the sodas from the bar and keep your drinks purchased elsewhere (which I highly suggest) in there instead.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and available at all hours.
The only thing which bothered be was the passive aggressive game of manipulating the Air. Whether you want it or not, the staff will be visiting your room daily. I know that A/C is not a typical thing for Paris but they have it, and given that it was averaging close to 90 while I was there, I wanted my room cool upon my return. However, every single day I came back to find my settings dialed down to a minimum of comfort at best. Very annoying.
I would certainly stay there again, but would be clear about my expectations, for sure.

Room Tip: Opt for a larger room when in doubt. The smallest rooms barely accommodate a single bed, which isn...

Wow! What a gorgeous hotel! From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by a lovely host and made to feel so welcome. The location is perfection, just one street back form the Tuileries, with great restaurants and cafes nearby – you can’t go wrong. Up to our room and it is STUNNING. Beautiful wallpaper, really spacious (which you don’t expect from most Paris hotels in this price bracket), lush carpet, wonderfully comfortable bed, a big bath and modern furnishings. The gorgeous windows open up wide onto the street below, yet block out all noise and light at night. Continental breakfast in the morning is just what you need and again, lovely staff! We could not imagine a better stay in Paris! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Hotel du Continent.

This very central hotel was lovely. The room is very small but I expected that it would be. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and spoke English well. I liked that it was very central. The breakfast was reasonable considering the bigger chain hotels were much more expensive. One small thing but was great...the clock radio charged my iPhone 5.

Room Tip: I got a room that did not face the street.

We stayed here in July for three nights. Our room was smallish but well appointed, very clean and with comfy beds. Although just off Rue de Rivoli, it was fairly quiet - apart from the 7:30am bin collection on a Saturday morning, but that was only a minor disturbance. The air conditioning was well used and very effective. The mini bar in the room, which stocked soft drinks and water, was reasonably priced. The hotel staff were all excellent and extremely friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close enough to the Louvre, Place de la Concorde and Champs Elysees but in a quiet side street. Breakfast is offered but we didn't have it at any point during our stay. As we had a late flight home, the ability to store luggage was greatly appreciated. Would definitely consider this hotel for future visits to Paris as it was excellently positioned but small enough and personable in such a big city.
