“Perfect choice for paris”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I haven’t stayed in Citadines since it was taken over by Ascott Group several years ago, so I was a bit wary when reserving. But I need not have worried. The takeover by Ascott has raised the standards, plus this particular property has been renovated.

The apartments are small but well designed and outfitted. You get a half-sized fridge, microwave/grill, mini-dishwasher, water kettle, coffee dripper, and all the dishes, mugs, silverware, etc that you might need for a simple meal, and soap, sponge, and towel for washing up. All the appliances were clean and working condition and there was a guide to explain how they functioned.

The apartment was also well outfitted and the bathroom had plenty of counter space. You should, however, bring your own toiletries as there was only one dispenser of soap/shampoo, and nothing else (to be expected). In terms of furniture, i only wished for a bigger table, another room light, and perhaps a luggage rack. The building also has a simple gym, and laundry facilities, although it’s not cheap to wash your clothes (9 euros per load!).

Perhaps the best thing about the apartment is the location –right at the metro station, with access to the 8 and 9 lines, walking distance to Opera, Madeleine, and the big department stores. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes within a block or two, although this commercial area is missing a traditional boulangerie.

All in all, a good choice, and very reasonable too for Paris. I felt like I got very good value.

My family stayed here for 4 nights, and all that time we were blown away by how hospitable the staff was, how clean and well appointed our apartment was, and how conveniently located the aparthotel was. Firstly, Citadines Opera was just a short cab-ride away from the Eurostar gare du nord, and located in a very safe area. We could walk around easily to take in the lovely buildings, browse and shop in large department stores like Gallerie Lafayette and small shops that sold interesting and quaint items, and enjoy delicious French pastries, breads, and coffees. We could also get to most places via the Metro from here. Our apartment (#221) was sunny, clean and had everything we needed and more, including a dishwasher! What was most wonderful about Citadines Opera is its incredibly helpful and friendly staff. On our second night, the bathtub stopper became stuck and the water could not drain away. The very concerned staff immediately switched us to a different apartment. However, the new apartment (#420) was more cramped for the 4 of us because of its layout, and the next night, we asked f we could move back to our original apartment if the bathtub situation was fixed. The staff immediately accommodated our request. At no time did they raise an eyebrow at this constant moving. Instead, they made sure that we were always very well taken care of. The staff was always smiling, helpful, attentive and informative. While Paris was absolutely beautiful and hugely memorable, what made our trip really special was the staff at Citadines Opera. We definitely recommend this very fabulous place to stay!

Room Tip: #221 is more comfortable for a group of 4, and #420 is very sunny. Both are really nice though.

I do not normally write reviews but I felt that I had to take the time to comment on our recent stay.
This Aparthotel was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived the welcome was warm. The person at reception who checked us in was very pleasant and gave us plenty of information on the area etc. We had reserved a studio and it was lovely, spacious, very clean, it was spotless. I was very impressed. Even under the bed was dust free! The location of the hotel was excellent.Very central for either walking or taking the metro. We were beside a station that was very serviceable. The supermarket was also 2 minutes walk away. Lots of nice restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel, everything about it was excellent!

Room Tip: room was very quiet and peaceful. We really liked everything about this hotel!

Excellent location, very close to the main department stores (Gallery La Fayette and Printemps), 10 min walk from the Opera Garnier, 15-20 min walk from Musee du Louvre and Musee d'Orsay, very nice neighbourhood full of cafes and restaraunts, the metro station Richelieu-Drout is right on the corner from where you can easily get to the Eiffel Tower. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and also warm and cosy, the kitchen is fully equipped, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay in this place, i would definitely recommend it as a perfect place to stay

We got relocated to this citadines from another one at a different location. We loved everything! Their friendly staff, clean amenities and rooms, spacious room (this is very rare while in Europe). They are from 1 minute walking distance to the metro ( line 8, 9). We also walked through the Louvre, Hard Rock Cafe and champs Elisse from this hotel. It's so central that you can go anywhere! There are tons of restaurants and cafes near by. I would stay there again on my next visit to Paris!

I stayed this hotel in 4th week of November. The room has renovated.
There are new kichen, new bed ,new bathroom.
But this hotel is undergoing renovation. If you will stay this hotel ,you need to prepared to be witnessed where the construction people swagger.
