“Very friendly staff and clean rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Don't stress too much about other reviews. We stayed here for 3 nights in early May and enjoyed every minute of it.
The room/apartment we had was clean and suited us well.
Just around the corner from the metro and a fairly easy walk to the Louvre and the Siene.
Reception staff were extremely friendly even late at night and early in the mornings. Would easily stay here again!

Stayed for 5 nights. We were lucky to be upgraded but that may have been because there weren't many guests.
Reception was very helpful and spoke excellent English. Room was spacious but outdated, the safe did not work and the airconditioner leaked from the ceiling during the night and left a huge puddle in the kitchenette area, Despite reception noting this nothing was done except we were given extra towels to soak up the mess, we dared not turn it on again. Great location, close to Metro and restaurants. Fitness room was closed for our stay. From reading previous reviews the WIFI problems were not evident as we used both laptop and I phone with no problems, Would look elsewhere if we were ever fortunate enough to return to Paris.

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms add a real european feel

We arrived expecting much more for the amount that we'd paid. Aside from the location, the room we were initially placed in (an apartment on the 5th floor) should have been condemned. There was an impossibly steep spiral staircase (which my 70-year-old mother couldn't climb to get to the bathroom), the shower leaked so much it wet the entire bathroom tiles and made the whole area slippery, the walls and carpet were stained and old, the upstairs wardrobe was so high we couldn't hang anything, and the decor was absolute minimum.
We requested a change of room and eventually got it, being led to a single-story room which was marginally better but still grubby. It was definitely disappointing that a room that cost so much doesn't include basics like help with luggage to your room, daily cleaning (clean towels, etc), internet that actually works, a breakfast that is included in your room cost or at the very least containing more than merely OJ and some stale croissants. The service was all right but they weren't overly helpful or didn't go out of their way to assist us which made us feel like an annoyance anytime we asked for anything that wasn't obvious.
Not worth the amount they dare to charge.

Room Tip: Request a single-story that is on one of the lower floors.

Stayed here for one night.Reception looks great.Very modern and clean. After seeing this the room was a letdown.Looked tired.Toilet was not in the bathroom and seat was chipped.Nevertheless everything was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable.Location is great and place is quiet.Staff are very helpful.
If everything else is full try les Citadines...

Great family stay. Nice area of Paris and nearby is the biggest arcade of toy shops, lovely restaurants etc. clean tidy and it was a great stay.
We were staying there with son and grandchildren and while we were Initially disappointed we couldn't get rooms side by side we were glad that the young ones had a room one story higher. Gave us time to catcher breath!!!
It was quiet. We were glad the staff spoke good English . It was an ideal family stay and we enjoyed the area.
No restaurant but there was a breakfast restaurant and there were many restaurants nearby

Room Tip: Surrounded by good restaurants and in a nice area

The hotel is located very close to the metro and the Opera area. It is walking distance to most of the touristy sights around Paris. The rooms are nice and roomy. However the hotel lets you down in several ways. The (free) Internet is frustrating and unrealisable, dropping out on a regular basis. The staff are not the best, it is often difficult to get someone on the front desk and they offer little in tourist advice and services. So in review the hotel is in a good location, however there are many more located in just as convenient position that might serve your tourist needs to a higher standard.

Room Tip: Ask for one that does not over look the entrance court yard as the attached restaurant/bar can be no...

We had booked a 2 room apartment for 3 days for our Family. At check in service was very good and we got a space for our car in the garage, which was easy to access. We got the apartment on the 5th (top floor). The positives - high ceiling gave the feeling of space. Negatives - very small rooms, windows were also small and very high up on the wall = little light and the internet did not work as it should. The hotel had free internet but the lines were always busy. Rooms looked rather old and needed an update. The hotel is centrally located - a few hundred meters from the opera, Gallery Lafayette and Printemps. Nice for the shooping girls in the Family. A bonus in Paris is the hop-on&off tour busses. We paid 104 EUR for 2 adults + 2 kids for 2 days and made the four routes seeing all sights. Nobody got tired, we hopped off often and enjoyed Paris, which was looking brand new - all the sandstone houses were fully maintained and the city was totally clean - really a pleasure !!.
