“Excellent Service, Beautiful Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

We had a rough start to our trip to Paris--the airline lost our luggage, we had several delayed flights, bad weather--but the hotel staff did everything they could to accommodate us and make our stay more comfortable. The rooms were beautiful, exceptionally clean and inviting. The restaurant staff was as friendly and helpful as the front desk staff. We would like to compliment Ludovic, Caroline, and the gentleman who worked the morning shift on the day we checked out (didn't catch his name, but he translated with the airline on our behalf). They are phenomenal employees who know their jobs and are happy to come to work. I could not be happier with the quality of this hotel. Too bad they don't run United Airlines.

Room Tip: We stayed in a family suite, which was perfect. We had a separate bedroom, a HUGE bathroom, and ple...

Dear Stephanie,
Merci beaucoup for this warm commentary! We are very happy to know that you appreciated your trip in spite of your bad luck. The way you describe these employees makes me very proud of them.
I am going to think about mastering United Airlines and let Caroline, Damien, Ludovic and Johnny running it.
Thank you very much for choosing our hotel. We hope to welcome you again,
A.Sehrine, owner

This was our first night in Paris after a long flight- we were warmly welcomed. I felt like I already knew the staff as they had been really great with email exchange as we set up the booking. The building is very old- I worried that the plaster peeling off the external wall might land on us as we ate in the pretty little cafe downstairs- so there were a few flights of stairs and no lift. However the staff were great insisting on helping with luggage. Our room was quaintly furnished; bathroom modern and despite being on the top floor there were no problems with water pressure. The toiletries were really lovely and good quality- bath salts for a good long soak were much appreciated! And then breakfast- the pastries and breads were fabulous- the best we had in our entire stay in France. Got us straight into Parisien lifestyle with good coffee and great selection of cheeses and meats. We only spent one night-then an easy walk to railway connections. Terrific dedicated staff- thanks.

located in the 10th arrondissement of paris near the Gar du Nord, and Gar d'lest train Stations, and a stones throw from the Canal St Martin, Le Robinet d'Or is a great hotel, with comfortable rooms, and amazing levels of service.
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in July and had a fantastic time.
The location was a little away from the main tourist attractions, although this was not a problem as Paris has an excellent Metro system. In many ways being away from most of the tourists made the experience better, there was no shortage of excellent restaurants and cafes near the Canal, and it was fun seeing the crowds of locals picnicing and partying along the canal on the warm summer evenings.
The staff were very attentive, and very helpful, the rooms were very clean, and comfortable, and I would definately recomend this hotel!

This is a fabulous spot -perfect for getting out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene, yet still accessible via the Metro to all of Paris. I stayed here with my wife and daughter, and we had a wonderful time - made possible by the extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful staff. Caroline and her colleagues simply won't let you have a bad time if they have anything to say. The restaurant is also quite good and we ate there a few times. The room was quite comfortable and they were so prompt in answering emails prior to our arrival. First-rate small hotel service.

It's a really nice property, conveniently located but quiet. Pricey but adequate given the quality and excellent service, exceeded our expectations. Roomy and well equipped top floor family suite.
Big thanks to all personnel!!

We had a great time! Staff was outstanding. (Shout out to Ludvig for all his help) Room was clean and nice. Neighborhood was great. Will come back again.
Some people have concerns about the location being out of the main tourist zone. It turned out to be an advantage for us. We actually walked down the canal to Avenue des Champs-Élysées. It was a nice walk and we hit a fantastic street market on the way.
A side note. the staff at the restaurant Le Valmy were fantastic. It is a block below the hotel by the canal.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. As other travellers have said, it's conveniently placed within easy reach of at least two metro lines and approx. a 15 minute ride to the major attractions. The room was comfortable if a little small, but that is to be expected in a European city. Ludovic, Caroline and Damian were on hand to help with suggestions to make our trip memorable. We had dinner in the restaurant on two evenings and the food was very good. For breakfast, you can ask for eggs to be made to your preference to accompany the fruit salad, various hams, cheeses, crusty French bread, yoghurt and several choices of tea and coffee. Being able to borrow an umbrella on a rainy day was very helpful. This is the only hotel where I have asked for non feather bedding in advance and actually received it! Loved the rainhead in the shower:). We would definitely stay again.
