“Very good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

All the staff members were extremely friendly, spoke good English, and were patient with my requests. For 89 euros, the room was the cheapest in the hotel and was a little small, but I thought it was a great value for the price. The room and the hotel were very quiet, the shower was great, and the air conditioner worked perfectly. No complaints at all.

Great location, air conditioning, elevator, quiet, English speaking staff. A few blocks from both RER and Metro. 10 minute walk to tourist restaurants in Latin Quarter. 10 minute walk to fantastic children's playground in Luxumbourg Park. Menus at most restaurants offered English translations

Best memory: We stayed at this hotel 2x during our holiday - first when we arrived for 5 days; then when we left for 2 days. We booked initial room as a double. We co-sleep our son. For our stay at the end, they upgraded us to a triple at no additional charge.

Small little hotel, small rooms but all that you need. All the staff were kind and helpful. The location is superb. It is just down the street from st. Michel which is a main road with shopping, cafe's, restaurants all within walking distance and maybe 15 min walk from the seine river and Notre dame. It is also close to 3 metro stations, bus stops, and the Luxembourg Gardens. I would most definitely stay here again. Also very close to the Sorbonne and Pantheon.

Room Tip: We were in a triple room (3 single beds) small but all that was needed. Sower, sink, toilet, tv, pho...

Our family stayed here in June 2012 and had a great time, very easy to get around and we love to walk so very close to many attractions and Metro. Loved the staff and atmosphere, very helpful and even made a reservation for us at a nearby excellent Italian restaurant. All in all great time.

This is a very central 2 stars hotel. Extremely well connected with everything (5 min walk from the Luxemburg station, allowing easy connection with CDG airport in about 40 min), literally 100 meters from La Sorbonne, 10 min walk from Notre Dame etc. The price is ok: 89 euros per night (June 2012). I would not suggest buying the 12 euros breakfast, which is not worth the price. Basically you cannot make choices: you get served with 1 croissant, 1 white bread, a few types of jam, 1 orange juice and 1 warm drink (tea, coffee etc). Being Paris the amazing city it is, with plenty of cafe and patisserie you will find something to eat elsewhere.

I had a single room, very clean. Pics are attached. The view from my room was not really amazing (see the pic) also I felt like not opening the windows' courtains, as people from the building in front could potentially look inside my room.

The woman which looked like the main manager was extremely kind, helpful (provided many info during my stay) and spoke an excellent english. I cannot say the same of the waitresses, which basically do not speak a word of English (but that's not really surprising in France).

So all in all I had a pleasant stay, in a beautiful area in Paris at a reasonable price.

OK, I'm biased, as it brings back great memories of Paris, which I consider perhaps the greatest classiest city to which I've ever been.
My room was a bit small (but aren't most rooms -- especially budget rooms -- in Paris?), but clean and comfortable. Looks like it had been renovated recently as it seemed very modern. Reception staff very pleasant (helped that I tried speaking French perhaps?) and the location -- while a bit of a walk to the Metro -- was steps from the RER, Luxembourg Gardens, the Sorbonne, etc. Great Left Bank location; quiet, but close to action on Blvd St. Michel, Rue Mouffetard, etc.

older female front desk lady was TERRIBLE! set up a shuttle to the airport and NARROWLY made our flight.. mostly due to the fact the flight was delayed. she was very unhelpful and the room was not ready when we arrived at 1645 when check in was at 1500 and she said "well most hotels in paris dont let you check in until 1700" when i responded "well this one does" she said they didn't have enough cleaning help for the entire hotel.. the told me it would be 30 minutes until our room was ready.. it was 45.. she didn't offer any assistance during the wait except we could sit in the lobby... super NOT helpful...
hotel is in good location.. younger gentleman at front desk was pleasant and helpful. pantheon location is very close to lots and if you're taking any of the bus tours they usually have a pick up at the pantheon which is nice.. also lots of restaurants within walking distance and most are reasonably priced bc it is near a university

Thank you for your commentary, we value your feedback. We apologize that your room was not available upon your arrival; this is most unusual as we endeavor to accommodate all of our guests directly from 14h onwards. In respect to your shuttle, thank you for raising this issue, we will ensure all our reception staff are fully briefed on airport travel times and the check-in requirements for international flights. Thank you once again for your feedback.
